So I was intrigued with this product so I decided to finally try it. I read the instructions and didn't realize it didn't foam up in the bottle. I waited and waited and finally just decided to use it, it's the pressure you place on the bottle that will create the foam (I should have known that I guess). So I was using it to help my mom dye her hair, I actually can't image using it to dye my own hair, it would be EVERYWHERE. The smell was nice, I liked how it wasn't that strong. consistency was to liquidly, and when I pressed to hard on the bottle, I noticed little specks on my arm... so you have to be careful of when you are pressing and that it doesn't spray elsewhere. Coverage was ok, we used black, it seemed like I worked well except a few places In the roots. I don't think I would use it again since it was so messy.
I tried this stuff last year, with it being foam it is lessy messy, however it did not work..i got a brown dry and it turned my hair pumpkin orange..i was not impressed at all
I found this foam to be a bit messy and despite applying and distributing it as evenly as possible, I still ended up with some uneven patches. Great price, but not a great product.
The colour was really great, and it was so easy to use! However, I found that it faded pretty quickly. It was very cheap though, I'd probably use it again.
this product must have been one of the worst hair products that i have used. first off when i was applying the dye, i could hardly breathe because of the strong and awful smell. if you didnt cover your work area properly you would have got everything stained. and lastly, the colour didnt hold properly. great idea but not worth the hassle.
I received a free product coupon to try Clairol Nice 'n Easy Color Blend Foam earlier this year. The color I purchased was Medium Brown, which was closest to my natural hair color as I wanted to just cover the greys. The color came out to be dark brown, almost black. The color did not look natural for the first week or two. I did receive many compliments on the color a few weeks after the dye though.
I found the foam to be quite runny and messy. At one point I was squeezing the foam bottle with my gloved hands and the bottle slipped out and flew a few feet, hitting the wall and leaving stains. I did not like the smell of the product at all, and it seemed to stay for a few days afterwards.
I
I did not like this product. The product was runny and I found it difficult to coat my hair. The smell was also very strong and I did not feel it had enough conditioning agents as it left my hair very dry. The only upside was the 2 packets of conditioner that came with it were very good and did leave my hair feeling soft. But not enough for me to be convince to buy this product again. Don't waste your money, Nice and Easy has better products than this one.
Actually, I don't know what all the hype was about )-: I never had a problem with the original formula dripping, but the ads sounded so good I thought I should give it a try. To be honest, I found it MORE messy! The applicator was a bit awkward to work with. As well, there are only 2 individual colour stay conditioning treatments rather than the tube which could last for 6 weeks. It was the same result in the end, but to me not worth the hoopla, or price. I'm going back to the original with the non-messy pointed tip.
Cons: Doesn't foam up right, have to continually shake it, sprays everywhere when coloring, dries to quickly, limited color selection
Pros: Color pigment is good, long lasting color, give 2 packs of conditioner, covers gray really well, there is lots of product
