Not For Me

I did not notice a difference at all after using this serum. My skin did not look smoother, firmer, or more radiant. My skin looked exactly the same. I also did not like the scent. It was too strong for me. At first the serum felt nice on my skin, but after about an hour, my skin felt greasy and oily. This would definitely work better on normal skin. I definitely won't be using this again.

What was this supposed to do?

The description says something about "fighting free radicals" which sounds a bit skincare buzzword-y for actually doing... nothing. I was completely underwhelmed by this and didn't see any effect. Any positives were outweighed by the terrible, wasteful sample packaging. It smells good and feels ok on the skin as a serum but I didn't see any changes or positive effects.

I wouldn’t buy this product, I didn’t notice any difference in my skin after using the product. I wouldn’t spend the money on it, not sure if it was because the sample was so small but I didn’t find it effective

Not as effective as I’d like

This serum looks and feels like an oil when applied to my face. It has a strong floral scent that doesn’t last too long. With only having a 7 day trial I didn’t see results of reducing fine lines and wrinkles but it did leave my skin looking radiant.

Not for oily skin

I have to give an honest review clarins double serum was not my favourite. I have oily skin, this was very oil took a while to dry and my face doesn’t feel soft still feels oily. I really don’t like the scent. I don't know if this is how you buy it, in the little packets (I hope it comes in a bottle). I would not purchase or recommend.

It didn’t work out for me

This serum has a lovely floral scent, typical of Clarin’s products, that will linger on your skin. I enjoy it, but if you don’t like scented products, you may want to stay away from this one.
It is a combination of two anti-age serums made with 21 plant extracts, and both have a liquid consistency.
After applying it, my skin feels tight and tingling. It gets easily absorbed by my skin and doesn't leave any residue.
I used this product for four days, mornings and evenings, and my skin started to break out. It provided some hydration, but I can’t say I saw significant changes, as any difference in the texture or colour of my skin, so I stopped using it.
I love Clarins products, but this serum wasn't for me. I wonder if I didn't get optimal results because the sample sachets I received didn’t dispense the same quantity for both serums.

Oily and ineffective serum packets

Every time I use this, I question why they have to keep the 2 serums separate. Especially when it seems to be activated when they are mixed together to be effective. The little 7-day sample packets require you to fold it in half to crack it open and I used about half of the sample packet for 1 full face application.

I find it oily on the fingers but not so much on the face; although it doesn't seem to fully absorb into my skin and because of how the product gets dispensed from the packet, I don't think the 2 serums are equally distributed; I got more of the turmeric/orange serum. I saw no difference in my skin but I think it would be more beneficial in the winter months when my skin is drier.

I smell like my grandma

Not the biggest fan of this serum. The texture was ok, but the method of obtaining the serum is kind of a pain. It also feels pretty wasteful to have a bunch of little packets, instead of a bottle/pump that can combine the two serums upon pumping. Was not a fan of the smell at ALL. It reminded me of old, smelly creams from the 90s. Didn't notice a huge difference in brightness, smoothness, or texture. Skin pretty much felt the same. I'm normally a BIG Clarins fan, but this one is a miss. I do appreciate the opportunity to review the product for free from Butterly/Chickadvisor, though!

Not for me

I received a 7 day trial Clarins Double Serum from Butterly as a free product in exhange for my honest review.
The sense was a little strong for me but lucky it subsided after a few mintues. I have combination skin and I found the serum too greasy for me. The serum took longer than my other serums to absorb and left my skin looking very oily and shiny. I stopped using it after two days.

It is a really rich serum. I don't know if it is because I have combination to oily skin, but it just sits on my skin and makes me look like a greasy mess. For this price (88$), it should not make me look like this.
