A nice serum to use to help with aging

I received the Clarins double serum to try. At first I was a little skeptical because so many products claim to help with aging. For me it is like any other anti aging product. It is also hard to see the real benefits in a short period of time. I found this product to have a very strong smell however. I usually go for products that are fragrance free because of my sensitive skin. I did find this serum very hydrating, my skin felt plump without being too oily. I don’t think I would purchase this serum do to price. For a bottle of this at Walmart it is over $100 and that is a lot for what I usually spend on skincare products.

A nice serum, but not effective?

First the positives: It wasn't greasy and absorbed quickly. The scent was very mild and not overwhelming. I liked that it had two different components that were mixed together right before application.
The drawbacks: I didn't notice any difference in my skin after the week treatment. Maybe if I had used it longer than a week, I would have seen results.

Nothing special for the price

I received a 7 day complimentary sample from Butterly/ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. I used this, and I have naturally combination/oily skin. I already naturally look dewy, even in the winter, so I didn't really notice a difference hydration wise. My skin looked the same, in my opinion. If anything, it felt more oily than normal, which is irritating to me, because I hate feeling oily. It dried down, but initially I needed to really let it sit before it sank in. I probably need to use this for longer than 7 days to notice a big difference, but for the price, I don't think I can justify it. There are plenty of products on the market that can help at a lower price, and wrinkles cannot be fixed by a serum. I warmed the serum in my hands and then pressed it to my skin (I didn't rub it in) as per the company's instructions on their website. The scent was nice in my opinion! I have acne even before trying this product, so I can't comment if it increased my acne or not.

It’s ok

I've been using this double serum for few days before going to bed, but I can see already that it is seems to be working. I was planning to wait before posting my review but it needed to be in by today and I just received the samples a couple days ago. I've used other similarly priced serums before without seeing any effect, but this one makes my skin feel different already, my skin looks radiant and soft, it's very hydrating without being oily. Due to the style of the sample packets I find it hard to mix the two serums but I’m sure that in the bottle this wouldn’t be an issue. I do find that my face feels a little sticky after application but it dissipates quickly. At this point that I'm not using any moisturiser after applications and, it feels perfect all over my face, eye contour included. The serum smells sweet like something tropical but I can’t place what it is. I may buy a bottle and try it again once my seven day trial is gone but we shall see..

Nice serum but didn't work for me

I was excited and am super thankful for being able to try the serum. Unfortunately it didn't do much for me. Some positive comments about the products are that it made my skin feel quite soft but after awhile it became so dry. I have combination skin but tends to be more on the oily side. It's too short of a trial to say but I wouldn't purchase this.

Clarins Double Serum

got the Clarins Double Serum 7 day treatment sample in the mail from @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @clarinscanada in exchange for my honest opinion. The Clarins Double Serum Complete Anti-Aging Concentrate (Hydric + Lipidic System) is a two-in-one formula that is similar to the skins hydrolipidic film, both water and oil soluble, with 21 potent plant extracts, for visibly smoother, firmer and more radiant skin. The brand claims that its suppose to visibly reduce fine lines, wrinkles and promote skin firmness, visibly tighten pores, it also hydrates and smooths skin and helps repair and strengthen the skin barrier. I was really excited about this product when I first got selected. I used the serum for 7 days straight despite getting tiny little acne bumps. My face felt really hydrated it gave me a glowy glass skin look which I really liked because I have sensitive, dull, dry winter skin but unfortunately the glowy glass look doesnt last very long. After day 3 I started to notice tiny acne bumps on my cheeks and the fragrance really bothered me and irritated my nose. Im also not the type to waste products so I tried my best to squeeze out every last drop. I do feel Clarins could have done a better job on the sample packages because I did struggle a little to take it all out. Sadly I will not be purchasing this serum not because it left my face with little tiny acne bumps but because of the fragrance. I felt it was a little too strong for me and fragrance doesnt do too well with my skin which is why I broke out. I also felt that the serum didnt do much for my face. It didnt combat my fine lines on my forehead nor did it help with my smile lines, it didnt tighten my pores or visibly firm my skin. Its also on the pricey side. Its very unfortunate as this was my first time using a product from Clarins but regardless I would like to thank @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @clarinscanada for allowing me to try this product.

might be worth trying

this serum was ok. it had an ok smell and I liked that it has turmeric in it. The feeling on my face when I put it on was a little bit greasy feeling for me though. I didn't notice any visible signs of anything, my skin looked exactly the same after using it for 7 days.

Nice product, packaging questionable

I received this as a free sample in exchange for my honest review. I liked the serum, but I found it quite difficult to use in the little packets it was sent in. It was hard to make sure I got appropriate amounts of both serum squished out of the foil packs and th st was pretty annoying. If this were in a pump that pumped out both s erums at the same time I might like it better. It did leave my skin feeling smooth and moisturized, so I DO like it, I just wouldn't purchase again unless it was in a normal bottle. #doubleserum #ClarinsSkinCare #gotitfree @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @clarinscanada

Smooth face

I liked how smooth my face was. It's also non greasy which is fantastic. The packaging was not great, it made a huge mess and the white serum was hard to get out which made the mess even bigger. Overall I liked it

Nice product! My sk8n was very smooth and soft after using this product. I didn't think when I seen the package that there would be enough to apply the my face and back of my hands, but there was more than enough. I little went a long ways. It had a lovely scent too.
