Lovely serum

As someone with a dry skin type, serums are a really important step in my routine. Especially around this time of year my skin tends to get drier and I was pleasantly surprised by how much moisture this serum gave me. The impacts were long lasting and the sample provided enough for me to take down onto my neck and chest which was great. The scent was subtle and slightly nutty, and absorption was quick. I really enjoyed using this.

Pricey, but seems to work

I received this product sample free from Butterly and Clarins to review.

I want to start by saying that 7 days is difficult to submit a proper review. I did like that I saw an immediate difference in how smooth my skin was. It does have a bit of an oily consistency which I like, I also found it very moisturizing.
There is a small crease on my forehead that was definitely less visible after using for a few days which was great as well. There is a scent to it but it’s more floral and not very strong so I actually like it. I know a lot of people prefer scent-free products though so I can see it being a negative for some.
The two major cons are price and lasting effectiveness. Once I stopped using it I found the crease started showing again and my skin wasn’t as smooth. For the hefty price and for how quickly it will get used up it may be hard to continue purchasing.

Super hydrating and smells amazing!!

I loved how luxurious and smooth this product is. It has a clean and pretty natural scent and left my skin feeling soft and instantly fresher and brighter.
The packaging was new to me, but there were plenty of instructions on how to open and use it. There were not as many instructions how how, where and when to apply in the packaging however. I would have preferred more info about the product directly in the packaging. Also, the samples had me wondering how the product would be packaged if I were to purchase it, so I googled it and was surprised to see how different the sample packages were from the full size bottle. I wondered how the two components would be pumped out?? I also found it very pricey, when I googled it. I noticed hydration but not wrinkle reduction, as it boasts.
For me, I’d have to see significant improvement in that department to spend that money.
I really loved how the product was not greasy and how The product left a lasting glow for 24 full hours! It spread on easily and even though I have said it twice now, the smell was wonderful. I was left thinking about that aspect long after application and loved it.

Actually works

I have tried different eye creams and this is one that I actually noticed some difference. A little pricey but worth it and a little goes a long way so it can last a long time.

Lovely facial serum

Expensive Smelly Turmeric Oil?

I received a week's supply of Clarins #DoubleSerum to try out from Butterly. #ClarinsSkinCare #gotitfree Each packet was single use and 0.9 ml, so about a 7ml sample in total. I don't know if the bottle is similar, but the packet had a lot more of the orange non-greasy oil versus the clear melting gel, so it was more difficult to spread on the face as the clear side was more hydrating. I'm not a big fan of the supposedly fruity and floral scent. And why is it so expensive? It doesn't seem to inflame my dry, sensitive skin but does sit a bit oily on the skin. I do like that it includes plant extracts, but overall the description is a bit vague.

Instant Positive Effects

I have used it for a week and I am pleasantly surprised. It does what it claims and more. I found it to be super absorbant into my skin and left me feeling smooth and looking so good that I didn't want to use any make-up for the first time in a long while. The effects are instant, positive and long lasting. It smells quite pleasant, feel non-greasy and apparently prioritizes responsible materials and limits waste. What else can a girl ask for? I am a believer!

It's ok

I got to try this for free, but unfortunately I couldn't get past the smell. I'm not a huge fan of the floral notes that are in this product. But it did make my face feel softer the 2 times I used it. Other wise I did not notice a big change.

A glowing serum

The serum is so silky and I love how it absorbs into the skin without leaving it feeling oily or sticky. After using it for 7 days my skin felt radiant, soft and had a really nice glow. I didn’t see any improvement in fine lines,( will probably have to use more than 7 days to see) no difference in firmness, smoothness, and saw no tightening of pores. I loved the brightening and glowing complexion it left me with.
