Hydration for skin

I have very dry skin esp in the winter. I went to Shoppers looking for a new moisturizer. I can never find a moisturizer that works for my skin. The lady recommended this Clarins Hydra Essential. I loved the feeling on my hand when sampling it so I bought it! It was super silky smooth on my thirsty skin. I really enjoy the smell. But I love that it feels so soft on my face. For the winter I will try the very dry skin version to see how it compares to this one for myself using it for the summer. I would definitely recommend Clarins!

Hydrates my skin thirsty skin.

This is a nice, rich cream that absorbs instantly into the skin and leaves it feeling soft, plump and well hydrated. I find it works perfectly on my normal to combination skin during the cold days of winter to keep any dryness away. It doesn't leave it looking greasy or feeling tacky. It has a very light, clean scent that I find pleasant but it disappears soon after applying. Although I would only use this in the winter months and lean towards a light lotion in the summer I would find this perfect as a night cream all year round.

I adore this product. I have very dry skin and found my skin feeling hydrated and silky. It's a thicker cream, so some might say it felt greasy, but I absolutely love it. I will be going out to buy myself one soon. I have found my new go-to face moisturizer!

Great!

I love this stuff as an everyday day and night cream. It has a nice but subtle fragrance and leaves my skin feeling hydrated but never greasy. I have incredibly dry skin and find that this helps combat my flakiness. I use this one during the warmer months and then switch to the extra dry version in winter.

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturizer

This is a very nice cream for my dry skin. For $47 for 50ml is affordable enough. A small amount goes along way. It soaks in pretty fast. Plumps and smooths out fine lines. The only thing I did not like and won’t buy again is because of the smell. I will be give it top marks because it is an awesome cream.

My favourite moisturizer

First, I would like to say that this moisturizer smells fantastic! That is the first impression that I had of it, because the first thing I always do with a product is smell it. I have a very strong sense of smell, and products that are too heavily perfumed, do not work for me because I start getting a headache or start feeling sick to my stomach. The scent in this moisturizer, however, is not only subtle, but also very pleasant. I could smell it all day.

That being said, when I apply the cream to my face, the scent fades after a while (which is probably for the best). I like that I only have to use a small amount of this product to get my skin nice and moisturized, and I find that my skin with this product applied, makes for a very nice base when I apply my makeup but don’t want to use a primer. My skin also doesn’t absorb it all, and rather than becoming dry, it stays nice and moisturized without being oily. Just one small application keeps my skin moisturized for the rest of the day! Truly a fantastic product. I will definitely be buying a full-sized version of this product soon.

Amazing Face Cream!

I have very dry flaky skin because I use prescription Retin-A.This is one of the best hydrating face creams I've tried, and I have tried a lot. A little goes a long way. This has such a creamy and rich texture to it, which makes my skin feel really smooth and hydrated, and it doesn't clog pores! I use it at night time and wake up to beautiful dewy skin.

I have very dry and sensitive skin and the lotion really did keep my skin hydrated and moisturized throughout the day. I applied it in the morning. I just think that there are other products out there that are just as good and way less expensive. It had a nice fragrance and was not oily or greasy. It really absorbed into my skin nicely. Unfortunately the price of this lotion is just too much for the size of the product especially.

I got a sample from shoppers Drugsmart and I tried it out same day. I was amused by how great it feels on my skin. My skin was really moisture and it just felt great!
