I a bottle of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturing Lotion in my purse, my desk and at home. It's that good. I love how it leaves my hands feeling moisturized, but not slimy like a lot of other moisturizers do. Plus, since a little goes a long way, the price is offset by how long you are able to use the product. I have had the same little 1 fl oz bottle in my desk at work for months and I use it several times a week. It only takes one little dot of the lotion to cover both hands completely and perfectly.
I would (and have) recommend this lotion to anyone who suffers with dry skin or just likes to have silky soft hands.
I got a free sample of this when I purchased a certain amount of things and it's the BEST and only face lotion I can use. I have sensitive skin, so any fragrances kill my skin, it'll get really dry.... then get extremely oily because its dry, then cause a big break out from clog pores from the oil.
This stuff keeps my skin hydrated and not oily. Perfect balance. Will be buying the actual bottle once this the sample is gone... and the lotion goes a long way!
The price sucks. I love clinique but its sometimes over priced.
I read some of the other reviews of this and I'm thinking that perhaps the others should have tried the dramatically different GEL not lotion. The lotion is for combination to dry skin- which I have and I love the stuff. You only need a bit, put it on right after using the liquid exfoliator (while the skin is still moist) and it takes a while to get it to rub in (because you're face is already moist from washing and exfoliating) but its worth it. I find that DDL leaves my face comfortable and even, ready for make-up. The lack of fragrance means that it won't aggravate my sensitive skin.
I thought I could get used to the completely frangrance free product, but I didn't. I just felt lack of motivation to even apply it in the morning when there is no fresh scent at all to wake you up. And the fact that I didn't see any different in my skin, let along dramatic ones doesn't help either.
The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion has always been one of my favorite products. I use this product during the day and night. I have been using it for a few years now, so the addition of a handy mess-free pump made it even better! This moisturizer is hypo-allergenic, and wont irritate your skin. It is a nice, lightweight formula that does an amazing job at moisturizing your skin. I just have to share the amazing things about this product. This lotion has not been something to trigger acne or any other skin problems, which is why I use this product. It works well under makeup, and always feels nice and light on your skin. One bottle usually lasts me about three months, so paying the full $31.00 is worth every cent. I would recommend this product to anybody with sensitive skin and people with combination skin.
it leaves the skin soooo freaking oily and makes you look sweaty all day. it doesn't clog pores tho and kinda helps with the acne I think and I love the fact that its completely frangrance free so doesn't burn my eyes. But it DOES NOT moisturize and not worth the money
This is the one of only two mositurizers I will use. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It also does not cause breakouts, and I use it in the morning or at night.
I have sensitive and combination skin. This product wasn't right for my face. It didn't moisturize the dry parts of my face. It wasn't effective. It's not worth the price. A lower priced drug store brand is better than this.
I bought the 3-step set @ Macy's. I have combination skin, but my face can get extremely oily if I use certain moisturizers. When I went for a consultation, I happened to be using one of those moisturizers, and you could definitely see your reflection off of my face :-(
The consultant immediately asked me about the moisturizer I used, told her that I normally used the Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer. She then said that for my skin type, I should be using the Clinique moisturizing gel, and that I should stay away from the moistrizers if I don't want to deal with the excess oil.
I have been using it for over a month and I can say that my face is definitely not as shiny as before...however, I have the #3 toner, which I find makes my skin a bit too dry, so I need to switch that to a #2...hopefully that won't make my face feel too tight after using the toner.
But using the moisturizing gel helps the makeup I use look a lot better...I'm not constantly using blot papers, lol- so this product is definitely a keeper!
I got this as part of the 3 step system. My skin is weird. It used to be quite dry, now I would say it's dry combination. It gets red and itchy, tight if not moisturized, I do get breakouts around my chin. Some shine on my nose. I think this moisturizer is good for use in the summer because it terms of moisturizing, it doesn't really do much. If you want a very light moisturizer it works alright. At night, I would not use this to deal my dry skin after washing, I would use a vitamin e night cream from the body shop or something like that, something stronger. It would be much better if it had an spf in it, but it does not, for a higher end skin care if really should. I like the packaging, it is sanitary, cute plastic bottle, silver top. It's large and will last me a long time. I have a sample size too in the mini set that I got for my bf, he didn't like it. So I have enough for a while. I don't know if I would re-purchase, I'll say yes for now, but I really am not sure, plus I don't really think I will need to for a long, long time.
