Yes, it moisturizes, and yes, it makes your skin dramatically different. For me, it made my skin dramatically worse.
Initially, I was sold on Clinique's 3-Step System. I have sensitive, dry skin, and their product description fit everything that I was looking for in face care products: fragrance free, allergy tested, and moisturizing. I found a great deal on Sephora, where you could purchase the toner and get samples of the cleanser and moisturizer for free, so I figured it was a good way to test it out.
At first, it seemed like this product was living up to its name, as my skin felt somewhat less dry than before. But, after a week, this greasy moisturizer (along with the cleanser and toner in their 3-step system) started causing red, blotchy and itchy patches on my skin. Worse, my skin would sting when I used the toner. I immediately stopped using the products and the redness went away.
Although this product is definitely NOT for me, it may work for you; I have friends who rave about Clinique's 3-Step System. I will say that it did moisturize my skin, but I have sensitive skin and it did not react well to whatever ingredients they used. I would definitely recommend to try samples before investing into full-size bottles of these products as Clinique products are rather expensive.
I'm in LOVE! Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing gel is truly my "holy grail" of facial moisturizers. I've been using this product for over two months, and I can't express the wonders it has done for my skin. I tend to have skin on the drier side, but I'm slightly prone to acne. Therefore, the fact that this moisturizer is oil-free completes my needs. I apply this in the morning and night, and my face feels much softer and taut. My skin definitely glows now! I'm extremely satisfied with this product and I'd recommend it to any woman looking for a high quality oil-free face lotion.
I have very acne prone and dry skin, and am always on the hunt for new skincare products to get better skin. This does a good job at keeping my skin moisturized, doesn't make me break out and is actually quite effective for not being a thicker cream. However, the price point makes me nervous repurchasing, because I've tried moisturizers that are just as good, if not better, for half the price. It is a good product though.
Okay, so I am not 100% convinced this product is for me. After using it for over 3 weeks, I am noticing more break outs than before, and really, my skin feels better once I put it on, but after 15 mins, I feel that my skin becomes tight again.
I am sorta glad i used the samples that I got, before purchasing this product. It is not what I was expecting in a face cream.
This is the lotion that I wear on a daily basis. I have extremely sensitive skin and have tried numerous moisturizing lotions before. Most of them result in my face turning red and hurting because something in the lotion made my skin burn. I have to say that Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion really IS different from the other ones on the market. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized, which is all I ever wanted. I trust this brand and will always use it as part of my daily skin care regime.
I used this moisturizer for almost 2 years. It's very lightweight therefore it doesn't leave that sticky feeling! I usually use this during the summertime when my skin is not in dire need of moisture. It does what it's suppose to do and leaves your skin soft and supple. Downside to it is that it is quite pricey compared. Moreover, I find this product ineffective during the cold harsh winter times. This moisturizer doesn't give you the full protection you need during the winter.
In love with this, theres no fragrance in it so it applies really nicely and doesn't sting my face:)
I love this facial moisturizer! It is fragrence free so it does not burn my face like most other moisturizers do. The price is right for as much as you get in the bottle usually around 20-25 dollars. Plus it works!
I cannot recommend a product that contains such horrible ingredients. Due to the ingredients, they should give this away. More people should research what they put on their skin so large companies can't use substandard fillers!
