I love this makeup! During my teen years I had my run in with acne so needless to say my skin is less than perfect. What I love about Clinique's Even Better make up is that the formula is thick and provides very good coverage. It blends easily and the colour I use matches perfectly! It's also has a good SPF 15, and is design to improve your skin quality overtime. It is pricer than the drug store brands but if you time it with Clinique's bonus time you get a full-size mascara and lipstick plus some other great items that makes this deal well worth it!
Tengo 2 meses usando esta crema y creo q no hay otra mejor, he probado varias otras y ninguna me habia funcionado como Clinique even better, gracias Clinique mi piel luce radiante
I have alot of dark spots on my face from having acne and cuts from back when I was still a pre-teen and I hated every single detail that you can see in the sunlight. So I tried this product out for a month and I surely enough seen that my skin broke out more then ever before. It definitely clogs up your pores and it really doesn't seem to make your dark spots go any lighter. If anything this product makes you break out and prone to even more dark spots in the future! I don't like it at all and I definitely won't recommend this product to any other person.
While this product is a bit pricey, it is TOTALLY worth it. I had terrible post-acne hyper-pigmentation for the longest time, and no other products were helping it. I have been using Even Better for less than a month, and great results are already showing! My marks used to be so bad, that even an RX strength concealer would not conceal them, and now, I barely even need concealer (just foundation). This product works even better when used with the coordinating SPF moisturizer.
Now that my rash has gone away (until another comes another day) I have these brownish-grey patches all over my fat little cheeks. It’s sad. Previous rashes just disappeared leaving no trace on my skin, but this one had some furry to unleash. It showed up at a time when I was contending with one of life’s annoyances. Coincidence, maybe. But what surrounds you affects your face. I was being fed a lot of BS during this period and I think it incensed my face. I have no problem accepting intrinsic flaws for my problems or admitting that I put something on my face I shouldn’t have – but that wasn’t it – like I said, this rash was something else.
About two months ago (in the midst of the worst of my rash) I went out and bought Clinique’s revamped version of Even Better. It was a pre-emptive strike because I knew I would need something post-rash – something that WORKED. This “clinical” version is supposed to be more effective. It is.
Yesterday morning I had a follow-up with my dermatologist. She was surprised at how much better my skin looked. So I’m sticking with this until it gives me a reason not to. Objectively, it’s hard to gauge whether my scars are disappearing any faster, but my skin’s overall texture is more even.
My dermatologist concluded that I was experiencing a reaction to the sun, compounded by an allergy to sunscreen, exacerbated by stress. I told her that this was like nothing else and can't understand why it was so bad. She paused and then asked me if I had introduced anything novel into my life? I said, yes, a loser. She laughed. My treatment plan is to find a gel or alcohol-based sunscreen, limit exposure to the sun and/or wear a hat, and avoid douchebags. Her words, not mine.
When this product was introduced I had great expectations as the Clinique Moisture Surge extended thirst relief was working so well on keeping my acne prone skin moisturized without causing any breakouts.
I have lots of acne marks and hyperpigmentation and hoped that this product would lighten these spots.
I went through, 2 bottles over 4months, using exactly as recommended twice per day and using sunblock SPF 40 or higher as I usually do.
There was absolutely no difference in the appearance of my skin. I will not be buying this again.
So this is my first time buying this product. I actually got it using a $15 off coupon they have at sears so I got it for a cheaper price. I've been using it religiously for about 2 weeks now (2 weeks as of this upcoming thursday). I know they say to wait for 12 weeks, but I can definately see a change in my skin. It immediately became a LOT softer. So just to tell you a little bit about my skin, i'm tanned and I break out frequently. My scar don't tend to go away easily and usually before I used this cream there would be new scars to replace the old ones that had finally gone away. This product has not only been helping me with the scars, it's also been helping me control my acne. I still get the occasional pimple, but the marks it leaves I feel are more temporary are will go away a lot quicker than usual. I'll most probably do another review after the half way point to see if it's worth the money, but so far this product has been working really well!
This review is for my mom. She has been battling with dark spots on her face for a long time and she's constantly looking for products that can help reduce the appearance of them (she really hates them). I bought this for her and she had been using it religiously until the bottle ran out. It did not make a difference to the brown spots at all. Maybe she's older and the intensity of the spots are really hard to reduce but it did not work for her and she did not want to try another bottle.
So this is the second time I'v bought this product. The first time I bought it in the US because it was sold out everywhere here. I made the mistake of buying the small bottle, which only contains enough product if you are working on very recent spots. To get to the older scars, you need the larger bottle to really erase those marks. I am dark skinned (I use MAC NC 50) so I was worried about having uneven skin or blotches of lightness (not cute!) but that did not happen at ALL, my skin is more even. I use the product diligent twice a day and ALWAYS use SPF (per the package directions) and I notice results. I would add that you should exfoliate at least once a week to fully see the results because I notice a big difference when I do. I will buy this again (even though it's $93/bottle)
Clinique for me is one of those iconic brands that I've grown up with. I remember watching girls in my junior high school whipping out their green compacts in between algebra sets and English history lessons to powder their noses, or check on their makeup.
I've used a variety of Clinique skin care products, and I currently have several in my current morning/evening regime: this is one of them.
As an African-American woman, I suffer from hyper-pigmentation, the clinical term for dark spots, on my face. While I've found the perfect concealer, I wanted a more permanent solution, so I turned to Clinique.
This product is a serum, not a moisturizer, so I mix it with another Clinique serum and apply to my face, underneath my moisturizer twice a day. I've used the product for about 1 month and I notice a definite lightening in the areas where I have the worst concentration of dark spots. It seems to work pretty rapidly too; after a few days I noticed (was I looking too hard?) lightening; but after a week you see a real improvement. My only concern is the longevity of the changes: I fell off for a few weeks and noticed the darkness returning. I think that any new acne/dark spots have to continue to be treated so you can't really stop using it, if you get dark spots regularly like I do. I will say this is the only product in the Even Better line I own; I wonder if I used the moisturized, if I would see even more improvement.
Clinique skin care products are definitely an investment, but it's one I'll gladly make if I continue to get these results. A definite try for those folks looking for an even complexion!
