Clear version is better

I #gotitfree in exchange for my honest review. I like this product, but I prefer it in the crystal clear formulation. This one is very pigmented and you have to be careful when applying it, or else you face the risk of it looking like clown makeup. I prefer my lip balms to be no-fuss so I can apply them on the go, which is not the case for this specific shade.

Not my colour

As far as the formula for this lip balm goes, it worked well and left my lips feeling hydrated. Unfortunately the colour of this one made me look washed out when I used it.

Coloured Lip Balms Weird Me Out

Maybe I'm the only one here, but if I'm using a balm, I'm generally NOT wearing any other make up. So for there to be colour in the balm, it just washes my skin out. For that reason, and that reason alone, I don't dig this one. I really like the formula! But I would rather go for the clear version than the colour. Even objectively looking at the colour, I'm not a fan of the shade itself. Oh well!
