I generally like this product, however I am sure there are better on the market- although likely not for this price. It is the only lip stain I have ever tried and I found it quite suprising and different from lipstick, in a very pleasant way. The best thing about it is that it doesnt smear like lipstick tends to! I could wear this when I was drinking and I wouldnt go into the washroom to find I has absent mindedly smeared red across my face from my lipstick. The lipstain feels fairly nice aswell. When you wear it your lips still feel fairly clean and not glossy and gloppy, however there is a dryer feeling to the lips. I prefered to wear my lipchap 'blistex lip infusion' over this product, when i did my lips felt perfect. They looked great too! This product is so vibrant and wonderful, and it creates a different sort of effect from lipstick, its generally cleaner. This product lasted really well for me, it held up to my eating and drinking. Because it held up so well I once wore it underneath my lipstick which was a little darker(it matched my dress). The lipstick I had wore of very easily as soon as I took a sip of anything it would be half gone, and if I absentmindedly licked my lips I'd end up with that ring of lipstick around nothing. With this lipstain underneath my lipstick it was less obvious of the wear and it blended fairly well although they were slightly different shades, and let me relax a little when it came to retouching my lips. I was really interested in this product and it has opened me up to the idea of lipstains. I would reccomend this, and I will certainly be trying more lipstains in the future.

I really enjoyed this lipstain. This is the first lipstain I have ever tried and it is easily a favourite. It is perfect for people who hate reapplying as the colour stays on all day. It comes in many cute colours. It is also not sticky and feels very natural!

I really love this lipstick. I usually don't end up wearing lipstick because it always wears off before I am even out of the house. I like this because it is easy and actually stays on my lips. I love the color choices. I highly suggest it if you have problems with having to reapply all of the time

I found the Cover Girl Outlast Double shine lipstick a fabulous addition to my makeup! It lasts really well even after drinking coffee, still there ;) I was very impressed. I love the two sided option of colour or gloss or both. Sometimes you don't really want to look shiney and it is great that it is an option to just add the colour. I bought the power pink and wear it all the time, doesn't dry out my lips at all. http://www.covergirl.com/prodimages/outlast_double_lipshine_lip_gloss_1.jpg

I would not recommend this lip wear. When I wore it, I found that I had to apply several coats for the colour to stay. The lipstain tasted sweet, but it felt sticky and sugary on my lips. After a couple hours, the lipstain would wear away around the center of my lips, leaving a ring of colour around my lips. The price isn't bad on this lip product, but I would not recommend it.

I have been using this for a week now and LOVE it . I have the everbloom kiss color, It is a pretty pink. One of my favorite things about this lipstain is that it lets you customize the color. The more you apply the deeper the result. Thus making you able to achieve many looks from just the one color. The color lasts for hours and does not kiss or rub off. It even tastes good! This is a stain so it is meant to look like your lips are bare. If you prefer some shimmer you can always add some gloss. i would recommend this to anyone looking for allot of bang for your buck .

I bought it in Berry Smooch and I must say I wasn't expecting it to be so bold even after blotting right away it did last at least the 4 hours but left lips very dry and you could see the lines as well as stained my finger.

    What's Advertised:

The water-based colorants of Outlast Lipstain give lips a beautiful, lightweight flush of color that won't come off, lasting for hours without the heavy look or feel of an ordinary lipstick. Its pen-like precision applicator makes it easy to define your lips-just draw on color without any hassle!

    The Real Scoop:

I actually really liked the way the Outlast Lipstain looked and felt on. It's available at mass market drugstores everywhere, and I purchased mine at Shoppers Drug Mart (approx $10 CAD). The colour I chose was Berry Smooch (#405), which gives my lips gorgeous definition without feeling dry. The fragrance is light and fruity, and the colour is very pretty on! It does feel like drawing on your lips with marker (which is not a bad thing, considering the precision you will be able to define your lips with).

My biggest gripe is that the marker itself dried out after only 4-5 uses, which means you cannot expect a lot of use from it. It's a viable option for those that need a quick fix of pretty colour and are looking for something to throw in the purse.

    Some tips:
I primed my lips with lip conditioner, let it settle for a bit and then put on the Outlast (to prevent dryness and "bleeding" colours). Once the product is on, you have to let it settle for a few minutes to dry and then it will last all day.

I was disappointed with this product. I really felt like I was putting marker on my lips, and I don't get why it's called Outlast. I liked the way it felt all light and smooth on my lips, and the scent and flavor is sweet, almost fruity. But other than that, it isn't worth the price. Oh and I like to put some clear gloss over it to had some shine.

This lip coloring aging to me shouldn't be called lipstick. It reminds me very much of a marker. What's great about it, once you get over feeling like you're putting marker on your lips, is it's color and liner all in one. It goes on light, not heavy, just as the ad for it says and it seems to last longer than your traditional lipwear.

Forgot to mention that I am a bzzagent so I got to try this out in return for reviewing this product and spreading the word.
