I am a commited consumer of Whitestrips, and Crest 3D whitestrips 2-hour Express has to be the easiest and most pleasant application technique so far. Although, the results may not be as promising as the title, I think the "2-hr express" may be a little misleading. I thought after two hours my teeth would be shining bright, sadly they were not. It seems that the best results may be found after 1 yr, after the the strips have been applied every 3 months. With that being said, this is a great bang for your buck, instead of buying 12 - 30 day applications, you only have to buy one. I would recommend this the casual teeth whiteners out there, but if you have an important event fast approaching stick witht he Crest Premiums.

Coffee & red wine - and I'm not giving them up! So my teeth need a bit of refreshing now and then. I hate the feeling of trays and the film that wraps your teeth if its goopy. I know ads say you and put them on and just go on with your life, but I can't - I hate the taste and the feel. In the past I've tried the regular Crest strips which I found made me a bit sensitive/achy - so I had switched to a sensitive toothpaste and used them 1x/day. This worked for me - but its 28 days! I also tried the dentist trays with gel which you keep on for a short period. I did that every second day. I had no sensitivity there. I definitely won't try the zoom-treatments!

Since I don't like the discomfort of whitening processes, I welcomed a product which was fast, easy and offered results. Here are my notes on the 3D Whitestrips:

    * My teeth were not badly stained to begin with. The Results were good but not great: brighter and whiter but not a massive difference for me. And, the base parts of my lower teeth are still yellow-ish.
    * I used Crest ProHealth sensitive shield toothpaste for 5 days prior to using the strips and also brushed my teeth 5-6 hours before using the product. I did both as precautions for sensitivity. I probably also wouldn't use them until about 3 days after a dental visit... same reasons.
    * Reading The Instructions: I am diligent about reading instructions...and there were not many with this product. The instructions were easy to follow, but I think I would have liked a bit more about the product, tips etc. It should say wash hands immediately after applying (so you don't touch anything you can bleach like clothing, furniture etc), how excess gel should be removed after whitening, whether we should avoid staining agents in the next few hours/days for best results, and it shouldn't say 'wear once a day for 2 hours' under reveal as this can lead to misuse. I'd love to see a little shade chart put into each box... so people can measure their results.
    * Putting It On: The two strips come on one plastic card and are easy to differentiate (top/bottom). They came off the card easily and I was careful to handle them minimally and by my nails only in putting them on. I had a harder time with the bottom teeth than the top: my gumline varies at the bottom which would mean that either I would have a line marking on some teeth where the whitening ended OR I would have to apply the strip against my gum in some areas. I aimed for middle ground - with the strip directly touching my gum in places.. For the top strip, I found that it barely made it from the gum line around the bottoms of my front teeth. I don't think I have big Osmond teeth, so I think a little bigger area in the front would help and keep the backing stuck on. My teeth are also not perfectly even, so I had to be careful to get the product adhered to the angles. Generally there was good adherence except to the back of my front teeth where there isn't enough product to 'hang on'.
    * The Process: I'm actually doing this review in real time... wearing the strips. My tongue got a bit tingly after the first 1/2 hr since it had no where to go other than to that ledge where the strips barely made it around my top front teeth. One hour in... no gum or teeth sensitivity. 15 min into the second hour - a mild dull throb began. Also one there is a loose bit on the top right... I guess I was so focused on my front teeth, that I didn't push this down against my teeth snugly at the beginning. 15 minutes to go... no changes or pain. 5 minutes to go... no additional discomfort, slightly numb tip of tongue... wow the 2 hrs went fast while I was watching TV and reading! It was not goopy or sloppy, though it felt a bit strange not swallowing much during that time... you are aware of it all the time. The strips came off easily with a good tug. Since there were no directions of what to do next, I brushed my teeth with my sensitive-teeth toothpaste to get the remnants of the goop off. All feels good! I will add an update tomorrow if I get any pain this evening or during the night.
    * The Cost: is actually decent since its amortized over a year - or two years if you use it every 6 months like I will ... brightening up for the holidays and then again for the beginning of summer. Or you buy it with a friend and split the cost. I think the cost could be reduced at least a little to make it more accessible. But there are much more expensive treatments out there.

Whiter teeth somehow makes me look younger and healthier. I will be sharing these with my husband... he has more whitening to do than me. I would use this again for the convenience and how it stayed put - but I didn't think it whitened more than the old Crest strips.

A couple of other notes - the box is much bigger than the product - but I get it - its about marketing and product placement/ visibility in the store. Since this box size is unlikely to change, Crest could use this opportunity to offer clients a mini-size of their sensitivity toothpaste or one to maintain the whitening (from their Vivid line). I see this as an opportunity to cross-sell and get people interested in their products. Also, if I saw the product in the store, I would not notice that its 4 treatments/ 1 year for the cost... I would make that more visible on the packaging.

Disclosure: Tried this product as part of the review club - so I received the product for free but with no strings attached to my review. Thanks Crest! Thanks Chicks!

After whitening, I went outside in cool fall air, drank chilled martinis, ate hot food... no problems. The area where I had the mild throb during the application has a bit of 'pressure' not quite pain. The funny part is that its further back than the strips went. More than 24 hrs after the application, I got sudden pain in the tops of my lower teeth and the bottom of my top teeth...it was quite painful but not long lasting. I brushed with toothpaste for sensitive teeth and I was okay again. Other than whitening I never have sensitive teeth.

ok, i was super excited when i got the sample just yesterday
yeah i agree about the extra packaging, but it had four treatments that means it is enough for one whole year
    ok
so i gave one to my husband n used one on my self
i was hesitant about two hours as i have a 4 y/o at home but then while using it, time was not a big deal
i had no problems in placing the strips, but yes after 1hr 45 mins i took them off
same goes with my husband (he is a smoker by the way)
it was really hard to pull the strips off
    but,
    the results were worth it
my teeth r brighter and one shade lighter
as for my smoking husband....he is soooooo happy as his teeth are lighter about 2 or may be 3 shades
now the problem is, he is keeping the remaining two packets for his further treatments :D
ok for sensitivity, i felt a little bit of cold sensations on my lower teeth but that was for 3-4 hours
but for my husband, he had this bad episode of sensitivity overall for about 24 hrs, but now it is subsiding gradually
i believe it will go by the day ends :)
yeah, i think its is expensive to buy yourself, the price should be a little less, n yes one more thing it would have been cherry on the cake if they had provided a shade guide or something like that, will be very helpful in matching the shades (may be im asking alot more :) )
thank u chick advisor for sending me such a wonderful product to try on
i'll be looking forward for more to come
    thanks once againg

i just tried the 3D whitestrisps 2HR-express, Well, I was very excited to try this product really, and It didn't let me down...I am very content with the results..To be honest I was expecting something like, dramatically results. which there are not.but the results were good and I really see the whitening so I wasn't disappointed.
to begin 2 hours sounds long, but is really not I put them at noon, while I did other things around the house; I have three kids that kept me busy while I waited....so time wasn't an issue time passed fast!. It was really easy to use nothing complicated just peel, apply and wait, At the beginning the taste is not nice, is a little bitter but not big of a deal. I personally didn't have any sensitivity or ANY DISCOMFORT AT ALL..and when time was up I peeled off the strips and I could see a difference.. my teeth were brighter, and whiter and they also felt cleaner and was happy with the results.Thinking that in just two hours, at home and your teeth are whiter is very good!! And I have to do it every three months which is good.
I didn't tried before any whitening so I couldn't compare it. But this one, worked for me.I would buy it again for sure, I will recommend it to anyone. because is fast, effective, and handy. i would like to add to anyone who try this product that really DO NOT USE RIGHT AFTER BRUSHING' because it really make a difference,in terms of discomfort.
Note: The fact that in 2 hrs. your smile is brighter is great so if you have a date last minute or something like that, you don't have to wait days or go to a professional whitening so for those reasons I believe is worth it!

Thank you ChickAdvisor for giving me the opportunity to try this product. My teeth have never been very bright and I was super excited to try this product.

I remember trying Crest Whitestrips quite a few years ago, and the strips were every had to keep on. Plus it was hard to find time every day to use the product. I love that you only have to use this product once for two hours and the box says the results last for up to 3 months. The box also comes with four treatments so you can have whiter teeth for a whole year.

Putting the strips on was fairly easy, and they stayed on pretty well. My teeth aren't very straight, so I had to make sure I got the strips into all the nooks properly. My teeth are sensitive so it was a little uncomfortable to have the strips on, but not painful. The results are noticable, but not as dramatic as I thought they would be. But I see enough of a difference that makes it worth it. Hopefully they'll whiten more when I try the treatment again in 3 months. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, in fact I picked up a box for my sister already!

I've tried whitening products before, and about 6 months ago I did the Zoom treatment at the dentist. Ouch did that ever sting afterwards. Subsequently my dentist also told me that it was as white as my teeth would get (although I still feel like they could go whiter - insecurities!) The other at home whitening treatments I've done before are always annoying because I forget to apply daily at regular intervals. I also tried those disolving ones before - big mistake.

So I was excited to get to try the Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2 hour express. 2 hours didn't seem so bad, and you only have to do it once every 3 months. So I decided to do it the day I was going to a black tie Gala. I stuck the strips on, and then gave myself a mani and pedi while the strips did their thing.

First off the application: fairly straightforward. I was surprised that they weren't marked top/bottom, as they are different sizes. It's actually pretty obvious which one would be top and bottom, but it always surprises me when companies don't make their instructions idiot proof. Anyways application was super simple - peel it off, stick it on. It had the usual warnings about not putting it on your gums, so I always get nervous and probably apply it a little too low down, but it stuck nonetheless.

Now the waiting game. Turns out 2 hours with whitening strips actually feels like forever. 1 hour was bearable. After an hour and a half (by this time my mani/pedi is totally set and I'm bored) it was starting to get really irritating. Finally the 2 hour mark came - by this point you feel like a drooling, rabid dog, with foam coming out of your mouth from having this sopping wet strip in your mouth for the past 120 minutes. Getting it off wasn't easy, as it sure sticks (in hindsight, bad call on the mani as I had to use my nails to scrape the strip off my teeth); but once you get one corner off, they come off fairly easily.

So overall, the process is very simple, albeit drawn out. But I would rather take 2 hours of saliva-y boredom than a week's worth of repetitive treatments any day!

I had no sensitivity at all during the process. That was until later that evening when I was eating/drinking. I was getting those sensitivity pangs, but nothing compared to the aftershocks from the Zoom treatment. Just the occasional icy feeling inside a tooth. It only lasted for that night and then it was gone.

The results: my teeth are already decently white, but I did notice a difference. As far as using this as a maintenance product, it totally does the job. I don't think the Zoom was worth the pain and cost for the results I received, so this is a way better alternative for me.

A couple of random things that I would have liked to see:

    1) package sizing - it comes with 4 treatments (each of which are like a bandaid-sized package), yet comes in the standard big box. Would be nice if it came in a smaller, sleeker box, to make more space in your medicine cabinet. I suppose I could take it out of the box, but I like keeping it together with the instructions.

    2) tracking - the instructions say not to use more than once every 3 months. That being said, I thought it would have been useful to leave a little white space on each treatment package, so you could write the next earliest date you can use them (ie. mark off the 3 month intervals on each piece). I wound up writing the date on the inside of the box so that I'll know next time I think about doing the whitening.

Long story short, it's not fun (just because it's gross and drooly and boring), but worth it. I would buy it again.

I was very pleased to get the chance to review Crest 3D White strips 2 hour express from Chick Advisor =D

I have been a teeth whitener for years randomly on and off and have used Crest whitening strips in the passed so I thought that I would be super amazed by this line of whitening strips. As well I had watched quite a few Youtube reviews that were positive so I had fairly high hopes.

This kit is really nice because it comes with 4 whitening treatments so you aren't just forking out a bunch of money for one use, it lasts a year so I think it's really good for the price.
I found these very easy to apply, they are very similar to the other Crest strips but they are slightly thicker and extremely sticky! I didn't realize how sticky they were until I was removing them.

When applying, start with the bottom strip first, then move to top. Once strips are applied you wait 2 hours.
I did have a few times where I thought they were slipping off but they weren't . The strips were slightly annoying to wear for 2 hours straight but I mean its worth it if you get whiter teeth right?
I was able to drink some water and talk fairly okay while having these on.

Once the time is up, I went to pull the strips off but they were so stuck on my teeth I couldn't just slide them off like the other Crest strips I have used. Which is good so you know they are stuck on for the 2 hour time frame.
I had slight pain in ONE tooth but I didn't think too much of it, I brushed my teeth with Sensodyne tooth paste and I was able to drink room temperature water.

The results were really good! I do not have super yellow teeth to begin with but they needed some freshening up and I was happy with the outcome, I was actually a little shocked at first at how white they were!

So at that point I was happy!

    Now for the negative =/

I went to sleep that night, I had used the strips in the evening and went to bed a couple hours after using it, I woke up in the WORST teeth pain in my life! I seriously thought my teeth were going to explode and shatter! I really do not have much sensitivity problems ever, the odd time I have some noticeable sensitivity after too much whitening but never ever ever from one use or this excruciating. I have a good pain tolerance but this was brutal. I didn't sleep at all that night, at around 1 am I found myself googling what to do when you have this problem but nothing ever was found. In the am before work I stopped by Shoppers Drug Mart and purchased some Orjel to temporarily numb any pain I could. This did not take away much pain, my 9 hour work day was the worst day I have ever had from this pain. It has been 25 hours since I have used this and I still have a fair amount of pain.

I will never use this product again, I am going to give the left over away to a friend who likes to whiten her teeth and hope she does not run into this problem.

So I DO NOT recommend this to anyone who has sensitivity issues at ALL!!! Save yourself from this pain, it is not worth it.

If you do not have problems with sensitivity I say go for it! If I had no pain I would purchase this product as well recommend it.

I recently received the Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2-hour Express teeth whitening kit to try from ChickAdivsor. As I have never tried a teeth whitening kit before, and was looking to whiten my teeth, I dedicated a few hours during my downtime to test the product.

The enclosed instructions were fairly easy to follow, and I did not experience any extradordinary trouble with the application of the strips. I enjoyed the fact that I only had to dedicate two hours or so to the task as opposed to days or even weeks as required with other teeth whitening kits available in the market. This was perhaps the most important feature of this product for me.

I did not experience uncomfortable or unbearable teeth sensitivity while using the strips, just a slight sensation that was tolerable and went away a few hours later. As my teeth were "non-white" due to my coffee consumption, I was looking forward to whitening results. After using the Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2-hour Express kit, my teeth are a few shades whiter, not bright white but definately improved from what I started out with. The kit gave me naturally looking noticable whiter teeth, but as I stated above, not bright white.

I would recommend the Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2-hour Express kit to those who would like to whiten their teeth a few shades without the longterm commitment required by other whtening kits, and to those who do not want to pay high dentist fees to have it done.

Overall, a good product with time-saving benefits.

I was so excited that I got to try this product for free from chick advisor because I always wanted to try the crest white strips, but was not sure if they would work so I never bought them. I feel that my teeth are not as white as I would like so it was great to be able to try something.
I really liked this product because it was fairly easy to use and I did not have to wait too long before I could take them off which is nice.
I felt like this product did whiten my teeth somewhat, and I am sure that after using the rest of them throughout a year maybe I will see better results as time goes on.
I would forsure reccommend this to others because it is way cheaper than going to the dentist to get them done and they do work pretty good so it woudl save a person a fair amount of money.

So here's the thing - the strips are much longer for your teeth so you'll need to play around with it a little to ensure that the strips don't slip off your teeth. Make sure your mouth is dry - i.e. spit out your saliva because some of the peroxide will mix in with your saliva and instead of swallowing - I would spit it out. The taste also leaves a lot to be desired and may not be ideal for everyone. I had it on for about 30 mins and felt a bit of stinging, but as I have a high pain tolerance just left it on. Didn't keep it on for the full 2 hours, think I took off after 50 mins or so---just didn't have the patience for it and plus my gums were starting to get really sore and sensitive. My teeth do look whiter. I think to really see a difference your teeth needs to be a little yellow - stained from drinking too much tea, coffee or smoking. The sensitivity and the soreness did eventually disappear. The postitive points are: one treatment every 3 months, so ithe box will last you years and years, do see a difference in terms of your teeth getting whiter. The not so good points: 2 hours of having to leave on--think it's too long of a wait, messy and strips were too large and didn't adhere as well as they should have, sore gums and teeth, but this does eventually go away, and taste of the gel should you get any in your mouth is horrible.

Overall I'm not sure that I would purchase these again and am not sure if I am going to attempt a full two hour treatment. However if I had friends that really needed to whiten their teeths before an important event - i.e. wedding, prom, etc etc - I would tell them to try because I did see pretty good results of removing the stains from my teeth.
