I have used crest vivid white toothpaste now for over 7 years. I love the way it makes you're teeth and my teeth felt nice, fresh and clean. It does keep your teeth pretty white, I was a smoker and I did not have terrible yellow teeth.
Really good line and toothpaste, I used it for a few weeks, not even brushing twice a day everyday and it really worked on my teeth - made them much whiter, without making the sensitive.
I used a lot of the whitening products from Crest and they work quite well.
I love this product!, I found it so easy to use!, It made my teeth shine like no tomorrow!
I'm actually a Colgate girl by heart but they didn't offer anything comparable to this toothpaste and I really wanted to find something to whiten my teeth a bit for minimal cost so I decided to give this one a try. I was quite impressed with the results and it really does work in the time they claim it does. I don't have any complaints about the taste like some of the other reviewers did, it just tastes like toothpaste. If you're expecting to have brilliant white teeth from this product I suggest you use something else to achieve that but if you want slightly brighter, whiter smile then I definitely recommend this product. For the dollar or so more than regular toothpaste, it is definitely worth it.
This review is for the Crest 3D Vivid White Toothpaste in Radiant Mint. I have been dabbling with different whitening products and toothpastes recently, trying to find one that whitens noticibly. Before buying this product I tried Crest Extra Whitening with Tartar Control, which I didn't care for - it tasted bad and didn't whiten at all. I am pleasantly surprised by 3D Vivid White though, it actually delivers! I have been using it for about 5 days and noticed my teeth were whiter after the second day. The taste is a little bit better than the other Crest toothpaste I mentioned - I'm not in love with it as it tastes artificially flavored and I prefer the taste of natural toothpastes - but it certainly is very minty and is tolerable. I like the texture though, it's almost "fluffy" and does have a slight grittiness to help polish teeth. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I have not experienced any film in my mouth at all. There may be a *slight* tooth sensitivity, which comes and goes, but it's very mild, nothing like when you use whitening strips (and I have issues with tooth sensitivity which is why I'm trying to find an alternative to whitening strips). I love how clean and smooth my teeth feel after using this tooth paste, and my mouth seems to stay fresher longer. All in all, I am very pleased with this product, and am surprised to finally find a whitening toothpaste that does what it says
I've been using this toothpaste for a few months now. I like the taste and the texture but I can't say I've seen any spectacular results. I brush my teeth pretty often, but I also drink far too much coffee to have the white teeth this toothpaste promises.
THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE COMPLETE VIVID WHITE TOOTHPASTE REGIMEN, I.E. Vivid White and Vivid White Night together (I'm only saying this, because I don't want to get into trouble for posting the same review twice, but I feel like since I use them together, it's difficult to write about them separately).
Alright, so about three weeks ago I bought Crest Vivid White and Crest Vivid White Night toothpaste. I do not drink coffee, I do not drink dark colored soft drinks, and I do not smoke. That being said, I don't floss, and I used to drink a lot of Iced Tea. My tooth enamel is relatively thin because of acid wear and I have some fillings in my teeth, the ones that are dyed to the shade of your teeth at the time (which by the way is part of how I know it's working). I used this dual toothpaste regimen for about a week before I started getting desperate for quicker results.
My brother got married last weekend, and so I ended up adding Crest Daily Multi-Care Whitening Strips to my oral hygiene routine. However, in the first week I did notice improvements that I was very pleased with (and if I'd had more time before the wedding) I could have waited and just used those two toothpastes.
I recommend the Vivid White toothpaste to be used with its night time counterpart! You may be thinking "Why would I buy two when one does the job almost just as well? I'd be paying twice as much!" ...Well, that's true. But consider this. You're paying for two tubes of paste, and you're using two tubes of paste. Which means it's kind of like buying only one... Except because you're using both, you're getting better results. Because you aren't using one toothpaste morning and again at night, you get more days usage out of each tube. Also, the night time formula is meant to penetrate the teeth to fish out deeper stains which you then brush away in the morning with the toothpaste which I believe is meant for more surface staining.
I like that these two toothpastes don't look exactly alike, I don't have to make sure I'm grabbing the right one because the night time one is darker and has a dark blue lid instead of a white one. I got Vivid White in the "refreshing mint" flavor and Vivid White Night in the "revitalizing mint" flavor. For anyone that has used the Crest Healthy Radiance kit, which is a whitening toothpaste and some weekly strips, the revitalizing mint tastes exactly like that. Taste wise, the night time toothpaste I chose tastes better than the morning time one, thought the "refreshing mint" tastes good too.
-make sure to keep them standing up so the clear gunk/blue gunk comes out at the same time as the white paste
-use /both/ of them every day
-do not swallow! It doesn't burn, but it kind of makes your throat tingle uncomfortably (I know it says don't swallow on them, it was an accident).
I definitely recommend these to anyone else who's trying to amp up their smile a bit. If you need quicker results, try using strips too. It worked for me, but now I'm giving my somewhat sensitive teeth a break from the strips until I need them again and I'm just going on with the toothpastes. I've been doing that since Sunday night (it's Tuesday today) and my sensitivity has disappeared even though these are not sensitivity toothpastes.
I really hope that helps!
I would say this toothpaste is a bit above average. I was looking for something that would get my teeth whiter, but nothing seems to work. I brush my teeth for about 2-3 times per day, use mouthwash, floss, all the things you're supposed to do... but despite having good oral hygeine, it doesn't LOOK like I do. For most of my life I have been drinking coke, as it was always what was in the fridge at the time. I don't drink as much anymore, but it has stained my teeth very noticeably. With Crest Vivid White I noticed a slight change, my teeth were a tiny bit whiter, but not the results I wanted. It wasn't a noticeable enough difference. But for now, I will stick to the toothpaste because I'll take any whitening I can get. Hopefully soon I will find something that makes me not so embarassed of smiling.
I have to admit that I’m the type of person who will switch to a new product if its better...no brand loyalty unless Im getting the best! IM TALKING RESULTS HERE PEOPLE! lol
That having been said I change tooth past brands quite often looking for "the one".
All I can say is that I stayed with this one for quite some time and as cheap as i can be this one was worth the extra cash:) I was a smoker at the time and it got them wither than they are now that I’ve quit!
I feel very stupid right now for having bought another tube of tooth past a couple days ago lol
Soooo yah...thanks for the reminder!
If you have never tried this product I would highly recommend giving it a shot. I bought Crest Vivid White toothpaste a little while back and it definitely has made a difference in my teeth. Whenever I take pics with friends they are always asking why my teeth are so white by comparison. The only product that I have used in the last little while on my teeth is this toothpaste. It comes in various flavours but my personal favorite is Invigorating Mint. Each time I use it I feel like I just came from the dentist. :o)
