I love this tea for a delicious guilt free treat. It has a nice sweet taste. I use it when I don't want caffeine, so only occasionally. It is delicious.

I love most teas from David's Tea but birthday cake is one of my all time favorites. It would be a dessert tea. If you love rooibos, then this is the tea for you. It contains red and green rooibos, honeybush, sprinkles, ice cream bits and flavouring. It has a sweet rooibos taste and smells just like cake. It's delicious and one of their lesser expensive teas. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend you do it!!

The birthday cake tea does have the birthday cake favour. I'm not really sure how else to describe it. It looks adorable. It contains colourful sprinkles. It has a sweeter a flavour to it just like a birthday cake. I enjoyed it but it is not a tea would keep in my pantry regularly. It is more of a special occasion treat.

As part of the Dufferin Mall Shop Crawl we all received a free tea from David's Tea. I love tea, but always refused to buy tea when out, since I can just make it at home... I also never stray too far from 'regular' teas. Well, my mind was blown! I went into David's Tea to get my free tea at Dufferin Mall and told the girl behind the counter to just give me what she liked, she refused, asking me a few questions before settling on her recommendation. It was like drinking a slice of birthday cake. I'm going back to David's tea for more now (a day later)!! So delicious.
