This mascara is simply amazing. It is the best volumizing and thickening mascara I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot. It also lengthens really well too. I use two coats, brush through with an eyelash comb and then curl with an eyelash curler and my eyelashes look amazing...people have actually thought I wear fake eyelashes!! The only thing I wish they did was offer it in an even deeper darker black, but I can't complain. They do have the blackout version which is darker but it clumps a lot easier and the brush isn't as thick. Once you master the thick brush, you're good to go-give it a little while to get used to, you'll love the results when you perfect it:)
I don't get the hype with this mascara. I have tried it several times and every time I simply don't get it. It gives mediocre results, not any different than from an ordinary drugstore brand that costs a fraction of it's price. Maybe it's the big brush I have a problem with, since application is a nightmare, I get it all over my eyelids and under my eyes, or maybe it's the fact that it never gave me amazing volume and length... or maybe my expectations were too high; however I kinda gave up on it, I made up my mind: Diorshow isn't worth the hype.
No - it's not priced like a drug store brand mascara - but the results are definitely high fashion. As a makeup artist, I go through a LOT of mascara... at least one a week, but I had to save DiorShow for my own personal use and opt for something else on the models -- I couldn't spare any!
The wand is really substantial (which i loved), and while it can get messy if you're not careful, you get super luscious dramatic results! This mascara is a splurge that is certainly worth it!
I got this mascara at Sephora, and although it is on the pricey side at 31 CAD, I think it's well worth the money!
I have very short, sparse eyelashes and envy my friends who have long, thick, gorgeous eyelashes and Diorshow allows me to fake it! It is rather pricey but in my opinion it is worth every penny.
Note: I don't recommend the waterproof formula; I find it too sticky
This is my favorite mascara. I HATE spending more then say..$10 bucks? on any make up product but I continuously splurge for this because there's nothing like it. It's a good combination of everything you want in mascara. It plumps, lengthens, and seperates, but none of these factors are overwhelming.
My mom got a sample of this from The Bay a while back and she gave it to me since she's not really into mascara. I was quite skeptical, considering I've found more expensive mascara then what I usually buy (Maybelline, etc.) aren't usually very good, but this was actually surprisingly good! As I have complained about in my previous reviews, I have short eyelashes and I'm constantly on the hunt for mascara that makes them looking fuller and longer. This mascara did both... however I won't give it a higher rating, just because I've found better mascara (Maybelline Define-A-Lash) that ended up doing the same thing, for half the price. The only advantage I find this has is that it makes my lashes fuller, if anything.
I received a free sample of DiorShow Mascara and it’s been great! I loved it so much I bought the full sized tube. It’s expensive so I don’t see myself getting it every time, but it’s a nice treat. The quality is ten times better than average mascara; therefore it’s a good value in comparison to other drug store brands. My lashes were left very soft and looked much longer than normal. I’ve used lengthening mascara in the past and never really thought it did much – but this one is completely different! One of the things I like the best is how easy it washed off. With very little water/face wash it’s right off with no residue around my eye. All and all, it’s a great product and very easy to apply.
This is my absolute favorite mascara of all time! I have tried so many different brands, but I always end up coming back to the Diorshow. The brush is huge, and coats all of your lashes, which I love. I usually end up putting two coats on for really full, long lashes. It is a bit pricey, but I believe that it is worth it completely. My one problem with it is that it does get a little dry and thick sometimes after you have been using it for awhile, but I rarely have that problem because I go through it pretty quick!
Good formula, ok brush. I like a thinner brush but thats just me. It doesnt hold a curled lash all day. It doesnt flake but does smudge. Its a good mascara but for the price I would expect more from it.
