Effectiveness rated 3 stars ONLY because its not colour-safe

Ive used this gel for years until recently. Its great for curly girls without coloured hair. It works wonders to form & hold curls all day long even if youre like me & fluff your curls a lot throughout the day. Might work in some colour treated hair that have natural colours (blondes & browns) but not good for unnatural colours (purples, blues, pinks etc.).

So if youre a curly girl that needs some frizz taming id totally recommend this gel, but if youre a curly girl with colourful curls, id opt out.

I was looking for something new to set my hair into a twist out. In Dippitu-Doos defence, I neglected to read the word"gel" on the label. There was a residue on my curls when I took the twists out. I did not suit my needs, will use it to smooth down my baby hairs.

Often, products that advertise they are for curly hair are disappointing, but this gel works great on my curly hair! Just the right combination of hold and softness. My only feedback is that I wish it came in a tube instead of a tub.
