Meh....

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Dove in body care but not so much in hair care.... I feel like this shampoo dries out my hair. I definitely beleive this product is not worth how much it costs. I would use this as a cleansing and clarifying shampoo. I thought I could have received the same results if I had purchased a cheaper shampoo. I would pass on this.

Made my scalp itch terribly

Used 4 times and had horrible scalp itch. It also did nothing for detangling my unruly curly hair. It's in the trash now. It's likely great for someone with thin straight hair as it feels light and probably won't weigh the hair down but not good enough for thick curly course dry hair.

I used it and it left my hair very greasy. I had to wash it when I came home from work which was only 9 hrs from when I first washed it. I would not use it again and would stick with my current brand.

I received this shampoo to try for free from Chickadvisor.
I did not have a good experience with this shampoo. The shampoo's scent was very strong and unpleasant, and it left my hair feeling coarse and dry. The positives though are that it did work a nice lather, but thats about it. I won't be buying it again in the future.

I start this by saying, we use Dove products for everything in our household except for shampoo and conditioner. We had never tried any products until we received these through Chick Advisor. On the good side, the shampoo lathered up nicely and had a very attractive scent. On the down side, it comes out of the bottle very watery which was very unexpected. The shampoo did clean my hair pretty well but my hair seemed to have a dirtier feeling as the day went along. At $4.99 I think it should be of better quality in my mind.

I was so happy to have been choose for product review club for this product ! But I was so
disappointed when I try the shampoo... The smells of coconut ?! Where it is ???? I don't know, but the shampoo and my hair don't smells like that fragrance suppose to do. I love when I can't smells the fragrance when I wash my hair and also when my hair smells the fragrance when they are dry. Compare to Naked by Herbal Essences or Whole Blends by Garnier, the fragrance of Dove is absolutely disappointing. For the hydratation, I don't think that my hair is SOOO hydrated with the Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydratation Shampoo. I'm disappointed each time I try a new product for the hair with Dove. I will not buy this product and don't recommended to my friend.

I received a sample of Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration Shampoo from ChickAdvisor. Was not thrilled about the scent of it, and really wish this were a cruelty-free product which, unfortunately, it is not. It did seem to give my frizzy, curly hair SOME hydration; however, not as much as I am accustomed to with my regular hair care products. Overall, it's a MEH.

I usually really enjoy using Dove shampoos but I did not like this one. I couldn't smell the coconut and my hair did not feel any different. I think they dropped the ball on this one

I tried both the shampoo and the conditioner. I preferred the scent of the shampoo. It has a more potent lime scent, and I love citrus scents. The coconut scent was not potent. The shampoo lathered nicely and, in combination with the conditioner, left my hair soft and voluminous.

While I liked it, I didn't love it. I love how Dove promotes self-esteem in young girls and for that reason I would encourage someone to try the product but I also don't like that they continue to test on animals. I wish they would become a cruelty-free company and respect all life.
