Let's start with the "hmmm". This product proclaims it's use of African Macadamia oil. As someone who has been using natural oils for my skin and hair for several years, I'm extremely pleased by this addition BUT the feel of this oil definitely has synthetics, like some sort of lubricant that is definitely not oil. Which is fine, it's not like the product proclaims otherwise. Equal quality of other hair serums that advertises Moroccan or argan oil, but at a much better price.

This product does everything it says it does! Ok, I didn't try the pre-shampoo part. But you certainly could because this bottle is going to last you a long time. I've used it to maximum suggested use at least 3 times in the last week and a half, and the liquid in the bottle has barely decreased. I've also used it here and there just to tame frizz the day after wash (thank you, pillow, for the frizz), and it never weighs my hair down. One pump really goes a long way on my long, thick, wavy hair. I'm incredibly pleased with the results.

There is an added scent that isn't necessary, but isn't overpowering or long lasting, either.

Between the size of the product and how little you need combined with the price, Dove Pure Care Dry Oil is aces!

I was very excited to try Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil. It smelled great. I was looking for a product like this for awhile and I'm glad I got the chance to review it. It left my hair feeling smooth and tangle free. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I have oily hair to begn with, so my first thought was adding oil to my is not going to be good. I was wrong. After washing my hair I added this oil and it left my hair lookng and feeling great!!!

I have never used a hair oil like this before. I am used to using cream leave in serums. I applied a few squirts to my palm and ran it through my middle to ends of my hair. The product felt a little more oily than I am used to. You definitely need to wash your hands afterwards if you apply a face cream or something. I did find that my hair was soft after drying it. The next day when I woke up though my hair felt a little oily. I have tried using a little less as less is more and it has helped not be as oily. So just use sparingly.

I received this from chick advisor to try and I was excited for the opportunity. I like to use an oil for my hair every now and than mainly because I have long thick hair and I find that I need a little moisture to my hair and this oil did this very well and it also gave a nice shine to my hair. I found the oil to be a little thick so I didn't need to use much to achieve these results. I thought that there would be more of a scent but that's not a huge factor. I think that this product works well and I liked using it but I think that the price is a little too much considering I have other oils that I use that are a lot cheaper and that I quiet frankly would rather compared to this oil.

I used this oil after washing my hair, and before blow drying it. It does leave your hair shiny, and smooth. However it did make my hair greasy only after a day and a half afterwards, and my hair doesn't tend to get oily quickly. I also would say that it isn't a great heat protector, so you may want to use one as well.

I wasn't sure about this at first because I thought adding oil to my hair might make it greasy. I was wrong and this product works great. My hair feels healthy and soft still, not greasy at all.

I have used dry oil on my hair before. A little goes a long way. I have very straight and thick hair. I use this product before I blow dry my hair. I found that worked well from and protected my hair from the heat. I love the smell and I would recommend this to anyone.

Just coming out from washing your hair pump 2-3 drops depending on your hair length. Apply to your hair mid length to ends on damp hair. This product don't have an over power scent it smells like all dove products sutul yet effective. Style your hair as usual then if you need for those pesky little fly aways apply one pump to need areas. This product works so well a lot of product isn't need which means this amazing size bottle will last for a while. I've been using other dry hair oil so this was definitely interesting try. It was not as bad and I do still prefer the one I'm currently using. It still cured some of split ends and damaged hair areas but not as effective way. I love the smell and makes my hair shiny :) For the price, this product wasn't that bad
