Great lightweight conditioner!

This product works great! I was a little skeptical but it made my hair smooth without the heavy feel. It is light in weight and in scent. It's fun to apply! Totally different texture than I'm used to but I love it! I have done curly hair and this did the trick! It didn't leave an heavy silicone gel to my hair and it's light and bouncy! I will surely think to replace my current conditioner when I run out!

A conditioner in mousse form?! Who knew!

While I am familiar with the Dove brand; the Dove Ultra-Care conditioner in mousse form (that I received free as part of the Chick Advisor review panel!) was a brand new product to me. Actually a daily conditioner in mousse form was a new thing to me completely!

I washed my hair with a Dove shampoo that I had at home and then awkwardly stared at the mousse container. How much should I use? I have an idea of what I need to use with a regular conditioner but a mousse form is a new ball park.

My first opinion; it was a nice smelling conditioner with a gentle smell that is not at all over powering or heavy in perfume. It was easy to dispense the product and applied easily to my hair, spreading through out easily.

I applied an ample amount (defintely more than what I would use with a regular conditioner) and allowed it to sit in my hair for one minute (as the instructions recommended).

I washed the conditioner out; and afterwards towel dried my hair. I did find my hair was easy to comb out (no tangles) and once dried felt very soft and managable!

The price is a little higher than I would normally want to spend on a conditioner; BUT the quality and effectiveness makes it worth every penny!

I would 100% recommend this to family and friends!.

Dove Mousse Conditioner- My new fave!

I just received this conditioner in the mail late last night, and was super excited to try it out, so you all know I jumped in the shower the moment I got up this morning! I wasn't too sure how it would work, if it would be very effective for me, or at all even. I have lots of hair, but it's very fine and especially in these winter months gets the nasty static attack goin' on easily, so I tend to rely on heavier conditioners in the winter.. but this stuff was amazing! So light and fluffy which made it super easy to apply to my hair from root to tip. It said to leave it on for one minute, but, ladies.. c'mon.. we all throw the conditioner in our hair and let that stuff sit while we exfoliate and shave and whatever else, amirite? :) So, after a couple of mins I rinsed, and it rinsed beautifully as well! I'm a microfiber towel twist girl, so I tossed my hair up in the towel, and started my after shower moisturizing routine. Usually when I take my hair out of the towel, I have to immediately apply (actually another dove product, lol) some hair stuff to be able to brush my hair, even wet. The first thing I noticed was that my hair was soft to the touch and almost entirely tangle free, something that was absolutely unheard of in my life. I couldn't stop running my hands through my hair, it felt so nice! And smelled amazing as well! I let my hair air dry while I painted my toes all pretty, and gave it a run through with the brush - another thing I NEVER get to do due to the static attack and/or tangles that are usually present. Not only did I brush my hair, but, it didn't get all crazy with static, and still hasn't even hours later. My hair is incredibly soft, yet light and so totally manageable. I am in love! Thank you ChickAdvisor for the chance to try this, and thank you Dove for the product! I can't wait to get more! <3

Lightweight Love!!

I deal with very fine hair, and I tend to skip conditioners since they tend to weigh my hair down, making it look greasy. I’m so happy Chickadvisor sent me this Dove Mousse to try! Finally my hair is conditioned, softer and doesn’t feel dry at all! I’m forever grateful that I can now use conditioner without it making me look like a greasy mess. I already LOVE DOVE haircare products and have tried so many and have yet to try one that I didn’t like and this one is up there with the best. First off I’ve never used a mousse conditioner before so this was a very cool idea. I found I didn’t need a lot to get my hair feeling silky , smooth and untangled. I could easily comb through my wet hair in the shower so I knew it was going to be great ! The smell is lovely and after I blow dried & styled my hair it was extra soft, shiny , beautiful and smelled so fresh. As I mentioned before I love Dove products because they’re always innovative,affordable and high quality and The packaging is great too. Plus , it does exactly what it promised to do which is moisturize my hair. My hair definitely needed extra since I have blonde , color treated hair that’s somewhat damaged, dry & brittle so this really helped to smooth my hair and make it look & feel more healthy too. I hope you give this a try and I am hoping to get to try the milk gel & creme moisturizing products that are also apart of doves new line of moisturizing conditioners. Love it !! 🙌😍😍

Lightweight and nourishing

This is my first time trying a conditioner in a mousse form. I've washed my hair a few times with this conditioner and it leaves my hair feeling soft, hydrated and moisturized. I love the lightweight texture and it doesn't weigh my hair down. I would recommend this to family and friends for sure!

I received this product free to test out in exchange for my honest review. To begin, I was a little skeptical at first on how a mousse conditioner would work. I was not sure what to expect. I have to say that I am very impressed at how the mousse conditioner went above and beyond my expectations. It is light, fluffy and feels like hair mousse would. It is very light on my hair, does not weigh it down, did not make my scalp feel dry or irritated which is a HUGE plus for me! I love the way that Dove continues to come out with new innovative products and am glad that I was able to test it out. I HIGHLY recommend that if you are thinking of using this product, that you give it a try. I bet you will be just as amazed as I was at how light the foam mousseconditioner truly is!

Weightless moisture

I love using this product.Having fine,long staright frizzy hair my hair tends to be flat and oil when i try to add moisture,seems like the products i tried are too heavy or either too greasy but with this mouse i can get volume,nourishment and moisturized hair without the heavy weight which is everything i was looking for and thanks to Dove ultracare conditioner weightless+moisture mousse i found it.

Maybe Mousse isn't for me

I thought this would be a great opportunity since the product is targeted towards fine, dry hair which I have. I always find it a real chore to brush out all of my tangles after washing and conditioning my hair. While I liked the formula and light scent of this mousse, I wasn't sure how much product to use. After using Dove shampoo, I sprayed two large dollops into my hand and the product absorbed into my hair easily. I left the product on for a few minutes each time I've used it (more than the 1 minute they recommend in the directions), and then rinsed. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the tangle-prone nature of my hair, this product did not "effortlessly detangle [my] hair." I've had better luck with creme conditioners in the past, so I will likely try the creme and milk-gel versions of the Ultracare Conditioner to see if they suit my hair better. If I find these work for me, I would spend the few extra dollars to buy the Ultracare Conditioner rather than a standard one. I wouldn't recommend to others based on my experience, but it may work well for others!
