Great taste

Thanks to Dr Oetker for allowing me to try Pizzaiolo kit!
There are some pros and cons to this kit.
I'm not a huge fan of kneading dough, and that is required for this pizza kit. I find it is so much easier to purchase a dough ball from a grocery store. It also seemed that the recommended amount of water wasn't quite enough, so I ended up adding a little more (when kneading the dough).
The good thing about this kit is that it is fairly easy to make the dough. No messing with yeast and whatnot. I also like that it comes with tomato sauce. I find that when I make pizza at home I usually end up with too much sauce, and it just sits in my fridge for months.
I initially thought I made the pizzas too thin, but the dough puffed up really nicely. The pizzas tasted good as well. I really liked how the sauce tasted.
Overall it's a different thing to do for dinner and will be a fun activity for when my child is older.
I probably will purchase it again in the future.

Le goût est excellent. Préparation de la pâte un peu longue mais avec un peu d'huile, s'étend bien sur 2 tôles à pizza de 12 pouces. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Tastes good

The taste with this product is great and perfect if you like the fun of making your own pizza. It is a little more time consuming than just cooking a ready to go pizza but easier than making from scratch.

Create Your Own Pizza Dough At It's Finest

All you need to create this delicious dough is a little warm water, a pan and a rolling pin. It even provides the pizza sauce which isn't too spicy. When you follow the step by step directions, you end up with a light pizza dough to create your own pizza. To finish your pizza, you can add whatever toppings you like. My family and I divided the dough in two which made two good sized pizzas enough for 4 people and leftovers.

Great for kids

I enjoyed making this together with my kids. They had fun making the dough then putting the toppings on. I can’t say that I would get this if I didn’t have kids as I feel it would just be easier to order a pizza or get a frozen one. Overall though, it was a fun experience and the pizza turned out great.

Easy to make

It was very easy instruction to follow. We made this pizza as a family, everyone contributed in the topping idea. It was fun to make as a family activity. One kit was enough for 3 people..or more.

Very convenient

A fun kit for homemade pizza lovers. You have everything you need to start your pizza in that box. Convenient when you don't want to spend too much time in the kitchen as the sauce and dough is already provided. All that's left to do is to add toppings!

Tasty Crust

I'm not a huge pizza eater and I wasn't initially paying attention when I got it; I thought that this kit would have a ball of dough and a bag of sauce to make your own pizza, so I was a little surprised to open it and find a bag of dry ingredients! However, the dough was very easy to make! We made two smaller pizza's that we cooked on the bbq. Definitely didn't realize how much the dough would rise; would have easily had enough dough to make four smaller pizza's if we rolled the dough more thin initially!! Did the pizza's on the upper rack of my bbq, on an old cookie sheet with a foil sheet, for about 20 (maybe a little more) minutes at around 420F (give or take, because it's a bbq). The crust turned a lovely golden colour! Due to our error in rolling the dough, the crust puffed up to easily an inch thick, but it was very tasty and soft (make sure you don't over mix your dough initially or this would likely NOT be the case).

Even though it was a little more labour intensive than I initially thought, I would still buy this again. We all really enjoyed it!

Great tasting and easy to make

I was given a coupon to try Dr Oetker’s Pizzaiolo Kit for free and was surprised at how easy it was to make pizza dough - all you need is warm water and your favourite pizza toppings, since the kit already comes with pizza sauce. The kit makes 2 pizza dough crusts (you can freeze any leftover dough you don’t use). My family and I loved our pizza dinner. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great quantity for a family pizza

I received a coupon to purchase and try the new Dr. Oetker Puzzaiolo Kit. We purchased a second kit for supper for our family of 4.

In addition to the kit (flour mix and sauce), you will need water, some flour and oil, cheese and preferred toppings. The instructions were easy to follow and within 25 minutes (dough needs to sit for a min 15 minutes to rest) we were ready to roll out the dough and prepare the pizza. We prefer our dough thinner and had enough dough to freeze for 1 other pizza between the two kits. A lot of sauce is provided. We used less than 2 packs for 4 pizzas.

The dough browned and had a crisp edge. Next time we may add some additional salt and sugar to the flour mix to add extra taste to the crust. I would also use more sauce as it was quite dry.

The kit was quick and easy to use. With the kits and toppings, 4 pizzas cost between $20-25 to make (with leftovers). We would probably purchase again. One kit would easily make a very large cookie sheet pizza to feed a family of 4. In our case, we personalised 4 pizzas.
