Yummy dairy alternative
I like this because it doesn't hurt my tummy, and heats up nicely for lattes and other baking needs. It has a thicker texture then almond milk but is better for the environment than it because it takes 7x less water to make. Im officially a oat milk convert.
The New Formula is so much Creamier!
I buy soy milk for the kids, due to their lactose intolerance. Growing up on cows milk, and liking the higher percents(I typically use 2% for like cereal and stuff), I could never get over the taste of soy milk, even if it was flavoured. We have tried some of the other milk alternatives, trying to find something to work for the full family. We had tried almond milk in the past, and I did like it, but it was so thin. I didn’t really enjoy it in cooking nor with my cereal.
This does seem thicker, I do like it more than the ones we have tried in the past. I actually haven’t tested it with cereal yet(I just haven’t bought myself any, haha), but I have had a few glasses and can stand to drink it on its own.
I actually have been combining this with cottage cheese, in my smoothies. My smoothie maker needs a bit of a liquid to help keep things processing, and I usually use apple juice, orange juice or a bit of water. I started to substitute in this, and like the results.
The man even likes this one, so that is a bonus!
A good alternative for cows milk, even if you can handle the lactose.
Great alternative
I tired this milk as an alternative to regular and almond milk. It’s great that even though it’s made from oats it’s still gluten free. The taste is pretty good. I like the creamy tastes it gives just like 2% milk would. There is a slight after taste of oat/wheat, if that even makes sense! I dont mind it at all. It’s not ideal for cooking but I would put in tea/ coffee and even in smoothies to add that extra creamy taste. The only downfall is that it’s quite high in calories compared to unsweetened almond milk. Double the calories actually. But for those who can not have almond/cashew/coconut etc... for whatever reason, this is pretty good.
Way better than Almond milk
I usually use almond milk but decided to give this one a try instead and I am so glad that I did. I like that it is a mil alternative that has the same consistency as real milk. I find almond milk much thicker which contributes to my dislike of it. This was nice, smooth and light with a great flavour!
