I love The Oatmeal comics and I knew this would be an amazing game. We were not disappointed! It's similar to Cards Against Humanity in some respects - a lot of outrageous and unrelated themes, adult humour - but more of a fast paced card game as well. The games are quick to play and the rules are simple enough to grasp. The more you play and understand the strategy, the fun it becomes.
I've already backed the new project, Bears vs Babies, on Kickstarter and look forward to the release this summer.

I love playing boardgames and this one is one of my favorites. It's easy and simple to understand and it does not drag all night long. No wonder this is one of the most successful boardgames from Kickstarter. I own the original edition, this NSFW edition and recently got the Imploding Kittens expansion. This is a great family and friends game but I would not recommend this edition for little kids as this edition titles Not Safe For Work edition. I highly recommend this boardgame for those who want to bond with people via a boardgame and not via video games.

I found the cards hilariously funny (the art isn't amazing, but if you're familiar with The Oatmeal it's typical of his signature style) but the game lacked the hook I needed to want to play it on another occasion or to even buy it. My friends really enjoy this game, and it does make for a quick party game without becoming quickly bored by games like Uno Game, but I can't play it for long as it just doesn't hold my interest.

The concept was a great try, though. Kudos to the creator for his Kickstarter achievement and for making a popular game out of the one thing the internet loves above all: cats. Again, the cards are funny - and the game is really easy to learn and figure out a strategy for - it's just not something I'd want to add to my own collection but I can see why other people really enjoy the game. It doesn't have the sticking power of Cards Against Humanity (and even that, after multiple plays, can get a bit tiring) as it's a bit simple but it is a stable game and there's no problems with the gameplay itself. If you like cards, cats, funny graphics, and short games, you'll enjoy this.

Husband and I love playing games. But some evenings, we just want a no brainer game.

We love the cartoons by the Oatmeal, and the caricatures shown in this game are cute and funny.

Some of my favourites (that I giggle at every time) are Shy Bladder Cat and the Overweight Bikini Cat.

I am a 37 year old 12 year old, so you have to have a sense of humour to play this game and have fun doing so.

Each player gets 4 regular cards and 1 Defuse card.

Player plays as many of their cards as they want (or none at all), and picks up a card from the draw pile at the end of their turn (unless they use a Skip card, which allows them to miss the pick up stage).

The game ends when there is only one player who hasn’t Exploded.

The cards include exploding kitten (1 less of these cards are placed in the deck than there are players – like we play with 2 people, only 1 Exploding Kitten card is in the deck); Defuse, Skip, Attack, Seeing the Future, Shuffle, Favour, and Nope (to stop others actions – like an Instant in Magic the Gathering).

There aren’t a huge amount of cards, so I am hoping in the future, the cost goes down, as I would definitely purchase a second deck (the regular deck) for more variations of play.

All in all, you could probably learn this game really quickly, even while drunk at a party.
