I know this isn't a recent work but I have read it for the first time in the past 3 months. I think I am already quite aware of some of the ways in which the fast food industry works. I also like to read up on the things that are in my food, etc. But this book still blew my mind. I haven't eaten fast food in almost 7 years, and I can guarantee you, despite my longing for some McD's french fries, I will likely never, ever purchase from a fast food chain. Not to say that the happenings in this book are still 100% relevant today or relevant to all fast food chains, because many of them are getting with the times and trying to offer sustainable, ethically-sourced foods. Despite all of that, I highly recommend this. What an eye-opener.

This is great, and gross - all in the same!

I honestly learned so much about the fast food industry, and now I have sworn it all off. I will never allow myself another burger, or my children. You seriously need to read this, and get snapped into reality!
