I received a free trial of this product and am very happy with it. It smells great, has a really nice creamy texture. It leaves my hair very shiny and smooth. My hair is very recently coloured so I am very interested to see how this helps with colour retention over the longer term - unfortunately I have to have the review entered now.
But as of now using Garnier Nutrisse Cream Colour, Garnier Fructis Colour Shield Shampoo and Conditioner and Garnier Fructis Colour Sealant - my hair looks great, definitely as good as any salon colour at a much better price.
Will definitely use these products again.

I have started to use the Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner right after the last time that I dyed my hair. I am not a true believer that any one product can make your color last longer however my hair feels clean, soft and manageable after each use. The last time I dyed my hair my color faded pretty quickly as the sun made it very light. This time around it has been about 3 weeks since my dye job and my color is still vibrant and each time I use the shampoo and conditioner I notice my hair is also very shiny.



What I like about the shampoo is that you don’t need to use much of it and it lathers up very well. They both make my hair smell really nice as well. I find the longer I leave the conditioner on my head the softer my hair feels afterwards and I never have problems with brushing.



Overall I think I will purchase this product again as I do color my hair often.

I received the Garnier Nutrisse in Dark Chocolate along with the Colour Shield Shampoo, Conditioner, and Instant Colour Sealer as part of the Product Review Club.

I've always seen the colour protection products on the shelves and never took any of them seriously. In my mind, if a product was moisturizing it'd probably do the exact same thing. I've tried one or two colour-safe shampoos in the past, but never noticed any difference. HOWEVER, the second time around dying my hair, I used the Colour Shield line every day... And I'm now a firm believer! Two weeks after dying my hair, it's as dark and chocolaty as ever! Normally by now I have some major red (and greys) poking through, but I am still getting comments about how great and rich my hair colour is. People think I dyed it just yesterday!

The scent of this shampoo and conditioner is also really yummy! I'm not a big fan of the super perfumy smelling products - I find they often give me a headache. But this is fruity, light, and won't overpower my other products, just perfect for shampoo! It also left my hair feeling very moisturized, but didn't weigh it down (I have very fine, curly hair). The conditioner is remarkably thicker than any conditioner I've ever used - I'd call it a cream conditioner. It felt as luxurious as the third step conditioner that comes with the Garnier Nutrisse hair colour (and many other brands of hair dye). I found a little bit went a long way, which is great for penny pinchers like me!

Since using these products my hair color looks more natural not brassy or gold. I'm very happy with the results. I use the shampoo and conditioner daily. No dryness, very nice and soft hair. If you color your hair, go out and buy Fructis Color Shield Shampoo and Conditioner, you won't be disappointed!

I loved the smell of this shampoo and conditioner, what a nice treat first thing in the morning! I found that you only need a small amount so you really get your moneys worth. After using this product for a few weeks I was really happy with the results. I found it really did aid in keeping my hair colur fresh and my hair feeling silky. I was very surprised about the results. I had used garnier shampoo before and my hair wasnt at all the way i expected it too. It looked dull and heavy. Now, with a second attempt, i was very surprised how shiny and healthy my hair looked.
It also had alot of bounced and was very easy to managed during the day.
I recommend it to everyone.

I found that this product worked well and did lather up nicely. I enjoyed the smell and consistency of this product. Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner left my hair feeling soft and very manageable. I found that the color in my hair didn't fade as fast as well. I would definitely use this product again.

I tried these two products through the Review Club. After testing Garnier Nutrisse hair color with my regular shampoo/conditioner, I recolored my hair and this time used Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner.
First, as of the shampoo and the conditioner by themselves, they are very pleasant to use, as the shampoo gives a nice lather, and the smell is just awesome! The conditioner leaves hair smooth and shiny, tangle-free.
As for their effectiveness on the color-fading protection, I think it does work quite well. The color still fades, but much less quickly, but most of all, your hair keeps that shiny look that you get right after the color much much longer.

Thank you to Chickadvisor and Garnier for introducing me to the shampoo and conditioner that I have been looking for! I color my hair quite often as I have a lot of stubborn greys and have always had a difficult time maintaining my color for more than a month before I start to see fading. I had a chance to use this duo for the last two weeks after coloring my hair again with the Garnier Nutrisse Cream. Aside from the fresh and fruity scent, I love how soft my hair feels after using the products, and it doesn't feel weighed down. Aside from that, so far, my hair color is still looking fresh, with no signs of fading. I highly recommend this line of products to my friends and family.
