Great product for brassy hair

I have highlighted my hair for years now. So it is bleached on a regular to keep it blonde. At times I will let my dark roots grow in a little more and when we bleach them I get sort of a brassyness orange color because I don't want to fry my hair. So then I use this generic brand "shimmer lights" purchased from my local Sally Beauty and it does wonders for the yellow orange tones. It takes about 2 washes to notice a huge difference. I put it in with my shampoo so it's not straight on my hair. Now it is a purple shampoo so you want to make sure not to leave it on really blonde hair for too long or your hair will stay be purple. Also use this only a few times a week. You do not need it everywash. It will break your hair off if you use it daily. It's my go to product after bleaching and needing that fresh icy blonde look. At half the cost of the name brand shimmer lights.
