One of the best stories ever written. The book is so much more detailed than the movie. I love everything southern so this story makes me very happy. Scarlett and Rhett may be the best characters in literature. I look forward to seeing the movie every year.

I pick this up and re-read it every few years, and get lost in it every time. Love it - the characters and the setting are painted so vividly with her descriptions.

The movie did justice to the poignant book that the author penned with such passion and honesty. Reading this book is like stepping back in time and having history unfold with a fascinating cast of characters to lead the way.
