I received the Gosh Lip Lacquer in #6 Funky Lips for free to review from Chickadvisor. I really like the Lip Lacquer. I have never experience "lip lacquer" before so I was really unsure what to expect. When you open it, it looks just like lip gloss, however the smell is similar to a very artificial child's flavoured lip gloss and almost turned me off the product, but you don't seem to continue to smell it after you apply it. It does bleed into your lips a bit after applying it, but I used a tissue to blot it and it seemed to do the trick. It feels light and smooth on my lips after it is applied. The colour is nice, like a playful pink that goes well with my blonde hair. I don't like that is doesn't stay on for long though. I would recommend it for a younger crowd for sure, or for women who like to wear lip gloss.

I really enjoy this product, the packaging is adorable (genuinely looks like a nail varnish until you open it and see the wand), the colour is bright but will be perfect for fall and it smells divine.

This product is extremely pigmented, glides on effortlessly and isn't sticky. I had to re-apply a few times throughout the day due to wear - but this is to be expected as it's not a stain or lipstick, but more of a pigmented gloss formula. Would recommend, and likely purchase other colours!

As someone who can't keep lipstick on if her life depended on it, I love love love lip lacquers but hate how much they dry out your lips. A girl can't win, can she?

What I liked: That you could control the intensity of colour by layering the lacquer. As far as drying out your lips, it was on the better end of the spectrum. That it doesn't stain your fingers!

What was ok: the length of time it stays on your lips. It wears for about 3 hours and then needs to be reapplied (for me at at least).

What was meh: I wasn't crazy about the colour (keep in mind I was given a free sample so I might have picked a different colour for myself). I think in large part because it's not the look I usually go for. It was very pink on me and felt a bit much for a daytime look (but like I said, I was able to tone it down by rubbing it in so that was ok). If you like the bold pinkish red look (think mod with dark hair) it would be an awesome product for that look.

I would buy it again in a different shade.

First I love the design of the bottle with modern pop-art look. The lip lacquer in 006 Funky Lips has an interesting and unique colour - pinkish-red; it is beautiful, I like that very much.

In lip products I pay much attention to pigmentation and moisturizing effects, and I have to say, Gosh lip lacquer has both of them. Very rich pigmentation, and it didn't dry my lips at all, on the contrary, very moisturizing lip lacquer - you even don't need to put a lip balm before that.

Overall Gosh lip lacquer has an excellent quality, and yes, I will purchase that in the future and will recommend to all my friends and people I know.

I first want to let you know that I tried the Gosh Lip Lacquer as part of ChickAdvisor review. I must say I was a little shocked by the colour as i wear more natural tones. However the lip lacquer is silky smooth moisture that glides onto patched lips and remains there for several hours.in the future I would purchase this brand but in a different shade perhaps!

I don't think Lacquer is quite the right name for this, but I do really like it! When I think lacquer, I think glossy, high shine, and while this does have some shine it's not super glossy. The product has a creamy texture that is more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss, and is very pigmented and gives lips a bold, saturated colour. As mentioned, there is some shine, but it does wear away and lips become more matte with wear. I love that the shade also stains lips, which means you don't have to worry as much as it wears away, and also lets you wear the shade in various levels for more or less intensity. I am quite excited to spot these in stores so I can pick up a few more shades- I definitely need an everyday type pink or nude!

At first glance this looks like a bottle of nail polish. Looking closer there are words written on the cover and if you read them you would realize its not a polish.

Not really a color I would normally select, being something so bold. This gloss is like a cross between a high gloss and a lipstick. I loved the glossiness and shine. Again the color was not one I would have selected, but I loved the way it felt on my lips. It went on smoothly and worked well for me.

I will definitely try this again in a different color.

I received a bottle of GOSH Lip Lacquer in the colour Funky Lips courtesy of the Chick Advisor product review club.

The product comes in a small bottle, similar to a nail polish bottle. Twisting off the cap reveals a doe foot applicator that is used to apply this hybrid between a lipstick and a gloss. The colour is highly pigmented, and a little goes a long way. I found the formula to stay quite well for a short period of time, but the gloss and some colour did fade as I drank some tea. I applied more gloss as needed, but did have some colour fade toward the center of the lip. The remainder of the lip remained quite stained.

I also tried dabbing the Lip Lacquer onto the lip, and using a gloss on top to get a sheer effect. This created a subtle stain, which was much more wearable, and the fade wasn't noticeable.

I am not someone that usually wears lipstick, but I find this to be a lot different then your average lipstick!…It goes on very, very smooth, and it leaves your lips feeling soft, and looking shiny (lip gloss shiny! without the lip gloss) it also lasts a very long time, only needed to re-apply once, maybe twice throughout the evening. I would highly recommend this product. It's a decent price for a very good product. My only issue would be the colour, I received a pinkish red colour, which is very pretty, but brownish or maroon colours suite me best :)

I am so happy i got to try this, aldo the shade is not my favorite, as i usually go for a more natural look the product itself exceeded my expectations. It was easy to apply and had a nice texture that almost felt like satin on my lips. Love it!!
