Wasted Money!

I bought 2 of the Grace Foods Fritter Mixes. I followed the instructions exactly as written. Both of the batters seemed a bit thin but I still tried frying them according to the instructions. As soon as the fritter mix hit the hot oil the batter separated so instead of getting plump fritters I got greasy, stringy fried dough.

Were the Fritter Mixes not tested at all before shipping them to the grocery stores? These packages weren't cheap and neither was the oil I wasted. You should provide a better Consumer product. I should have known something was wrong when I couldn't find any Best Before dates. Unfortunately I forgot to check for the BB dates until after the cooking fiasco. I tried contacting their Customer Service several times but nobody answered the phone nor responded to my email.
