I was so happy to have the opportunity to test out the product when butterly sent it to me. First off, I LOVE the scent! It smells so nice and fresh, and for me that’s a big thing as I really enjoy scented skin care, and when it smells good…big brownie points in my books! Next, I love the cooling sensation that it gives my skin when applying this primer. It is so easy to apply and melts into the skin so nicely. Once you rub it in, it feels like there’s nothing there, like it’s just a second skin. There’s no tackiness either which is so nice. It takes away all the shine, so if you have oily skin like myself, this is a lifesaver! This primer is great with or without make up on, but with make up, it holds everything in place all day. It is a bit on the pricey side and it doesn’t look like you get a lot of product inside but a little goes a long way with this one, so I would recommend this primer.

The most lovely primer

I do have to say that this is definitely such a lovely primer. I am very impressed with the skincare ingredients it has. It did give me the most flawless makeup look. Also it does have very lovely scent.

Holy Grail Primer!

I think I might've found my holy grail primer!

This primer is a very lightweight yet hydrating primer that mattifies the skin to reduce any pores!
Really good for creating an airbrushed or blurred effects, perfect for an airbrushed look.

The lightweight matte gel formula creates a smooth canvas for makeup application with a bonus of providing a protective barrier against environmental pollutants. Another pro for this primer is that it is silicone free!

A staple for the makeup bag!

This is a permanent product in my life - it is amazing. It will blur your skin beautifully, it will smooth out concealer or foundation, it will add a matte effect while somehow also magically moisturizing and cooling. I am obsessed. Please never stop making this! So far I’m so impressed by this primer! I have used many primers over the years and not many have given me that flawless, stay put coverage, but this seems to be doing the trick! Love it

I absolutely love it because I use primer whenever I use makeup to blur my pores around my nose and cheeks and this work perfectly to blur those pores and gives a perfect base for a long lasting makeup look and I love the fact that it’s paraben and silicone free and a light amount goes a long way.it also help to control oil to give a matte look but it doesn’t dry out my skin which is very important because I have dry skin.I really like the texture too which very gel like and goes on very smoothly and absorb very well and gives that smooth finish.

Love it

I have dry skin with large pores. I tested my foundation with and without this primer. The primer side made my makeup looks smoother, last longer and helped with hydration. I love the gel consistency and it feels so smooth on the skin, its like a layer of thin silicone.

Your new must have

I was amazed when I first tried it. I’d never really tried a primer before. I just tought that I didn’t need it but now I can’t skip it! It stays put throughout the day. My foundation can lasts longer with it. Its very easy to apply with fingers or a sponge. Just a small amount of it is enough, no needed to put a lot. It have a light menthol/herbal scent, which I really like. It feels fresh on the skin. It mattify and blurs the imperfections + gives a smooth and poreless look. Before trying it I tought that was gonna be too much to add before makeup, but its very lightweight. Now I apply it each morning! If you were hesitant towards it or never add a primer to your routine, go for it! I highly recommend it.

Perfect Primer!

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer that I got for free from Butterly in exchange for an honest review! The primer is so lightweight and has a subtle citrus smell that is absolutely energizing(especially on those sleepy mornings when getting ready)! It’s the perfect base for my makeup and makes my skin look flawless! This is absolutely my new go to primer!

Amazing primer!! Amazing brand!!

Git to try this product in exchange for a review from #thisisbutterly. Loved this product so much. Gave an amazing blur effect and felt so soft on the skin, it has a really nice scent that reminds me of a herb garden. I love that it's silicone free and still holds up just as well as the silicone products. Worked beautifully under all my different types of foundation. And works well on its own for those makeup free days. It is a bit pricey but you are really getting what you pay for with this. Will definitely be buying again!
