Great sweet zing

The family loves adding a little bit of heat to our food. I had never tried a hot honey before so I was very excited. This is exactly what it sounds like, it leaves a little “sting” or “zing” on the tongue but has a sweet premium honey taste. I feel this would be good on meat but as I’m vegetarian I only tried on some rice and pizza, which I feel wasn’t the best fit. I will keep continuing to try this on food until I find the best fit but I did like the flavour and the perfect amount of heat to it. I found it wasn’t overwhelming the amount of spice which I prefer to be able to taste the flavours. I love that this product is from Canada and is premium honey from the forest! The packaging is super cool as well, it stands out in our collection and comes in a big bottle to last you some time.

Sweet, Spicy, Unstoppably Versatile

I recently tried the hot honey from Halifax Honey Company and I really enjoyed it. The flavor starts off sweet and smooth and then you get a nice warm spicy kick after, which makes it really interesting. I tried drizzling it on Kunafa and I was surprised how good it tasted with a sweet dessert, the sweet and heat combination actually worked really well. I also tried it on chicken and it added such a nice flavor, giving it that perfect mix of sweet, savory, and a little spicy. Ouuuuuf this hot honey is HOT. If other hot honeys aren't hot enough for you - this is the one you need to try cause it's got some KICK. At first you get that sweetness from the honey and then after a few seconds you get the kick of heat - BAM it'll get ya!

Hot honey that is spicy!

I loved the initially taste of this hot honey but it definitely stings! With the cheese and cracker I tried it with, it was good but on its own it had quite a burn. If you like spicy this is totally for you because it’s quite hot! I’d recommend this to friends and folks that can handle hot heat!

Great hot honey

I am not usually a hot honey person but this flavour profile was totally different! You get the sweetness of honey right off the bat and then BAM! spicey chili's hit your tongue. The pickled chili add a great zing from the vinegar used to pickle the chili's.

Tastefully hot and extremely versatile

The Stingin' Hot Honey Zombee Edition is the perfect mix of sweet and very spicy. It's extremely versatile and can be paired with so many things. So far I've tried it on a grilled cheese + bacon sandwich, pizza, burgers, and chicken tenders. It's added the perfect sweet but spicy kick to everything I've paired it with so far. And I think that it would pair well with other things, such as being used as a chicken marinade or even drizzled over roasted veggies. I can't wait to try pairing this with other meals and snacks.

Stingin’ Hot Honey

Brought it to a dinner party and it was a crowd favorite. We put it on smash burgers, smash potatoes and even on carrot cake dessert. The hot honey gave it a nice kick, hot flavour. It’s spicy when you have it on its own however when you put it on food it’s not too spicy. Drizzled it on pizza and get the hot honey flavour which we really like. Just can’t get enough of it!

hotter than you'd expect!

I should have expected the heat with a name like "zombee edition" but wow! I was still shocked by the spice level. However, it was still enjoyable! It was really good added onto my Hawaiian pizza, it complemented the sweet pineapple really well! If you love spice, and honey, this is a must-try!
