Roughly two years ago, I got into hot honey. I like drizzling it on pizza, chicken, wings, veggies, and more. It's also great in marinades.

The Halifax Honey Stingin' Hot Honey ZOMBEE edition uses unpasteurized honey. I like it because the honey retains its natural enzymes, antioxidants, pollen, and propolis for maximum health benefits.

This company infuses its various hot honey flavours with hot peppers. It also makes their honey varieties in small batches, and bottles and ships their products out of Bedford.

I got to try the Stingin' Hot Honey ZOMBEE edition. The company calls its "fearless flavour experience."

Will I die being fearless?!

This honey flavour is pollinated by killer bees. It also has the company's hottest blend of hot pepper mash that produces an extreme heat infusion.

I was excited to try it. I had leftover sushi rice that I had stored in my freezer before I left for the Twin Cities. I thawed it in the fridge and then used it to make crispy sushi rice with fried eggs for breakfast yesterday.

I wasn't sure how hot it would be. I drizzled some of this ZOMBEE hot honey on it. It was so good! It does have a heat burn that lingers. However, I didn't find it to be extremely hot that I was downing dairy products afterwards to douse the fire in my mouth out.

It's got a nice, bold flavour to it. It's great.

It comes in a sturdy squeeze bottle. I liked that I could control how much honey I wanted to use and I didn't make a mess. The hot honey that I was using before trying this ZOMBEE version came in a glass jar, which required using a spoon to drizzle it.

I am happy with my hot honey. I'm a fan.

I was pleasantly surprised by this zombie edition of hot honey from the Halifax honey Company. The heat builds up slowly and doesn’t burn your mouth or overpower the flavour of the meal. The sweetness of the honey and the heat from chilies is well balanced, and I felt they work really well together to elevate the overall flavour profile of your meal. It’s also so versatile and can be added to a range of dishes. Definitely recommended.

Perfect Pizza Drizzle with a Kick

The Stingin’ Hot Honey – ZOMBEE Edition 2.0 is seriously good on pizza. It has that perfect balance of sweet and heat, with a smooth raw honey base and a noticeable kick from the chili infusion. The spice isn’t overpowering, but it builds just enough to elevate every bite.

Straight out of Halifax, and it arrived at the perfect time when I was missing a little piece of it. This honey truly bites back.

I used it on a chicken sandwich and was really impressed with the flavor. The sweetness comes through first, followed by a well-balanced heat that adds just the right amount of kick without being overpowering.

It paired perfectly with the crispy chicken and elevated the entire sandwich. The balance between sweet and spicy makes it very versatile and enjoyable.

Good spice and flavour!

Very nice flavour and a great amount of spice! Smells a little off so keep that in mind, but it’s a great sauce, pairs well with chicken ofcourse, but I add it to other meals for the added kick! Love it, and I love the packaging, super cool

Absolutely loved this kickin honey

I recently tried the Zombie Edition from Halifax Hot Honey and was seriously impressed.
