Did someone say cake and ice cream?

After spending days tracking down the Halo Top Birthday Cake ice cream we finally found it! It definitely lives up to the hype, we loved the flavour and the bonus of low calories per serving!

All the taste without the guilt!

This ice cream is wonderful, it's low calories, great taste and super smooth texture I'm sold on it! The birthday cake flavor is my favorite! the price is alittle high but worth it for everything you get from it!

How can you feel bad consuming one of their Ice Creams? You don't! Lol The taste is SO very smooth and creamy. And what's nice is even if it slightly melts on the way home it's still just as good!

My new fave flavour!

I’ve tried many types of flavours but didn’t try this one until today! My new fave! Consistency was very comparable to regular ice cream and the flavour was delicious! I wanted to eat the whole pint but I didn’t!

Great alternative to traditional ice cream!

I am definitely a fan of birthday cake ice cream. I would rate Halo Top's version as good for what it is. If you're looking to have a larger portion of ice cream, want to feel fuller and to consume more protein from your bowl of ice cream, than this is probably just the choice for you. Compared to Halo Top's other flavours I found Birthday Cake to be a bit harder and more icy. It's great that the entire pint is so low in calories, however I don't think I'll be purchasing this ice cream regularly as I feel that regular ice cream is better in value (even if the portion is smaller) and due to the fact that you could be having so many other things for the same amount of calories.

Sooooo good!

Delicious, barely taste the difference! So much better for you, but you would never guess it. Love that I can have it after going to the gym without feeling guilty.

Tastes like cake

It tastes like that vanilla cake your Grandma used to make with sprinkles in it. Smooth and creamy, great flavour. A bit over priced though so look for it on sale.

Fan from the first bite

Wow! I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this product. It was my first time trying Halo Top and certainly won't be my last. I'd heard much hype about Halo Top, so was stoked to finally get a chance to try them in Canada.

I thought they nailed the birthday cake flavour very well. It reminds me of Quest's birthday cake bar, but in ice cream form. Not icy and no weird aftertaste. The only minor issues that I identified upon a second, more thorough tasting, are a) the ice cream could be less sweet, even for someone with a sweet tooth like mine and b) it melts a bit more quickly than regular ice cream. Not huge detractors, but worth noting.

The calorie/protein content is astounding. It makes me giddy that I could eat an entire pint in one sitting and not feel guilty (I have not done so yet, but it's awesome knowing the option is there...). Really looking forward to trying the other flavours, particularly pancake & waffles and oatmeal cookie. My brain pretty much screamed for me to buy more after the first bite.

Best way to "cheat" your diet, without actually cheating!

This ice cream is the bomb-dot-com. For those eating Low-Carb, it's the perfect snack to hit that "sweet" spot without skyrocketing your carbs. With a serving size of 125mls, and the total container at 473 mls, you don't have to feel "too" guilty about eating the entire thing while you sob your way through another episode of 'This Is Us'.
Sweetened with organic cane sugar, (the sprinkles have actual sugar), erythritol and Stevia means you're not pumping artificial sweeteners in.

don't fall for the hype

after going to at least 3 supermarkets to get my hands on these low calories treats i was in utter disappointment as soon as i peeled the shiny gold tab off there was not a sprinkle in sight i must have fond only 4 sprinkles in the whole tub and for taste lets just say i have had no name vanilla ice cream that has tasted better there was no "birthday cake" flavour it was a bland white ice cream with no sprinkles, but its low calories so i guess thats supposed to make me feel better
