A really lovely concept. Great at uniting people and allowing for compassion and kindness. Really interesting to learn about different aspects of people's lives.

Having followed the Human's of New York blog for a while, this book was a must for me and I wasn't disappointed. While lacking some of the wordier stories from the blog and focusing more on the beautiful photography, it's still a joy to leaf through. You'll find yourself gasping, laughing and reading some of the quotes with tears in your eyes. Sometimes it's nice to remind ourselves of the variety of differences in the humans around us and how beautiful has so much more of a broad definition than that touted in beauty commercials.

Brandon Stanton is a stand up guy and his book is a hit, whether for yourself, a coffee table or a thoughtful gift. 5/5.
