Into the Woods was a pretty decent musical. And who doesn't love Johnny Depp singing? Meryl Streep was great as usual. I always love her in every movie she does. I'm sure if it wasn't for her, this movie would have fallen a bit flat (like some of the singing). But it's still worth a watch.

Trailer was so promising, movie itself kinda failed me. I was expecting it to be little better but I found it to be pretty average. Great actors though. It just did do it to me.

This was a cute and fun movie. It did feel like it dragged on towards the end, but it wasn't unenjoyable.
Although it is a family film, don't expect it to be a happy-go-lucky style film. There is still some very serious moments.
As per usual, Meryl Streep kills it.
My favourite moment was the two princes singing Agony on a waterfall. Very funny

Loved this movie. Haven't had a chance to see the live performance, but after seeing the original with Bernadette Peters, I knew I had to see this version. Amazing cast with excellent voices, a Sondheim classic score and excellent theatricality. Even my 7 year old enjoyed it after she said she didn't want to see it. Meryl Streep plays an excellent Witch and the rest of the cast is very entertaining. Lilla Crawford is stunning as Little Red Riding Hood - this kid will have a long future in Broadway. Anna Kendrick is perfect as Cinderella and Chris Pine plays a fabulously devious Prince - 'I said I'd be charming, not faithful' (paraphrase).
