A new take on peanut butter

I recently received a sample of Jif Peanut Butter’s dark roast peanut butter. I was a little apprehensive at first because I didn’t think it would be that good, but I was actually pleasantly surprised by the darker roast. It has a nice rich, toasty flavour. My partner, who is a traditionalist, didn’t like it as much, but I didn’t mind it. I don’t think I would make it my go to, but it was definitely a nice change. I’m actually quite surprised no one had thought of it already. A unique idea from Jif!

Tastes like peanut butter

I was hoping that Jiff's Dark Roast Peanut Butter would be more. More flavorful, richer darker, more peanut-y, something! It was just ok. It tasted almost exactly like my Kraft smooth peanut butter except a little saltier and a bit less tasty. Not bad at all, but not what I was hoping for. The price was decent.
