I bought one of these multcookers at William Sonoma, It looks like a really fancy slow cooker but has many additional features like sear, saute, simmer and steam. It is quite expensive but is beautiful. There is also an additional tower that you buy that sits beside it and actually stirs for you but its almost the same price as the multicooker so I am pretty sure I can handle the stirring myself.
