ive been looking for a primer for so long and my sister told me try it and im in love with it. it smooths out my pores/skin. after using this my makeup lost longer which is good. For the price thou I could have bought a more high end primer that does the same thing...

Great primer. Leave skin feeling smooth and gives a nice texture.

This product is wonderful! It helps with blurring imperfections and it helps control my oily skin. I have very oily skin throughout the day but dry skin in the Morning and this product can be a little drying so after you apply your makeup make sure there aren't any dry patches on your face

I was looking for a primer for a very long time and decided to try this L'Oreal perfecting base. I was more than pleased with this one! After washing my face, I applied the base to my whole entire face and was surprised with how my skin appeared after. Having a very oily skin, this primer matified it, letting it smooth to touch and not a tad shiny. My skin was soft and almost imperfection-free before even applying foundation... :O

I also found that my foundation (I use Maybelline's dream matte mousse) held perfectly to it and lasted all day long without fading.

Only flaw I can see to this product is probably that its price is quite high compared to the quantity of product. I paid about 23 Canadian dollars for only 15 mL of product (and I can ensure you they went away quite fast).

I will definitely re-purchase it though. LOVED it.

I've purchased this one, I really liked the product but I'm not thrilled with the price although reasonably priced I do tend to find that the price is a little exaggerated. I thought the product offered a smooth finish and blurred imperfections nicely and it feels like silk on your face. The jar is tad small but a little does go a long way. I have wore this magic perfection base on it's own without additional makeup on the days where my skin needed less coverage ( it doesn't offer much coverage if any on it's own but it does really blur and smooth imperfections). I would recommend it and would definitely purchase it again.

I bought this product awhile ago after reading some good reviews about it. I normally use either Benefits POREfessional or Revlon's PhotoReady Perfecting Primer.

I was completely thrown off by the "mousse" like texture. It felt extremely weird, and I did not like it, but I was willing to give it a try regardless.

It did not feel like it went on my face well at all. It sort of "sat" on the skin in some spots, while disappearing completely off others, and my foundation (both L'Oreal True Match and Revlon PhotoReady) did NOT go well over it! My foundation ended up cakey instead of smooth, which was a huge disappointment because the L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base cost me $18!

My sebaceous filaments on my nose were dulled down, which was a nice plus, but I can get that effect without fail from other primers. My pores were no less visible than they were before I applied the product.

I spent way too much to be this unhappy with a product.

Odd texture, no smoothing, caused my foundation to be "cakey"... I am just very unhappy with this product!

The one plus is that that my sebaceous filaments were lighter, but it's not worth $18 for that!

I was curious about primer as it was the new essential product to have.
This product is very cute and girly. A pink souffle texture. Very smooth
When applied on my face at first it leaves my skin smooth but then it gets heavy maybe 10 minutes after applying. I didn't see any real improvements on my skin whatsoever

    I have had breakouts too.

Not a product i would buy again.

The price to this product is a bit high for a drug store primer.
The jar is super tiny, but a little bit does go along way. Its a thick primer, its not the greatest to blend, but it can be done.
I'm not sure if I would repurchase it tho again for myself, but I would recommend it to others.

This is a decent drugstore primer. The price is a but high compared to other drugstore brands, but it's decent quality so worth it if you are willing to invest a bit in a middle of the road primer. Definitely increases your make up staying power, and smooths face nicely for a nice clean 'canvas'.
