excellent product

The Lamer cream is very hydrating,good for mixed type skin,less irritating,pleasent odor.I use it daily as my hydrating cream and it works like magic.Its a little costly .

Super moisture!

This moisturizer is amazing! It’s a bit thicker than others and is great for hydrating skin during colder months. The scent is a bit strong but smells great.

Hydrating

I just started using this cream from La Mer, my skin has become more radiant and glowy. Definitely notice a change in my skin. Goes on smoothly, not thick or greasy.

Too expensive

I was actually disappointed with all the rave I thought it was going to be the cats meow. I do like it it does hydrate but for the price I was expecting liquid gold. If it wasnt for the price I would like it. Nothing to call home about.

Way over priced but is amazing

I received a sample of this in the mail. I assumed it would just be like any other cream and didn't think much about it.. after I washed my face and toned I applied serum than opened the tiny sample and first noticed the smell..AMAZING! I personally can't get enough of it, Very heavy though so I wouldn't reccommend usage for the sensitive skin type. I used just a small amount and it spread extremely smooth. Its very concentrated so you really need a tiny amount. Immeditly my skin felt so very soft and hydrated. I thought it would be a bit too heavy under pakeup in the am. I did however give it a try and was quite impressed. Again after toner and serum than applied loose piwser forst them my foundation over top and it was not sticky or cakey at all..cream is quite heavy usually and you know when its on . La mar cream felt very light alone or under makeup. Its simply no where what I would be willing to pay and im not frugal with skin care.

I'm obsessed

This product is amazing , to put it in perspective it has a soft smell very similar to the nivea cream , your skin will immediately feel better . I'll be buying the full size product tomorrow!!!!

Great product but not worth that price

I received this as a sample to try out from La Mer's Instagram link. It was a very small jar so my review for this product is for short term use. My skin is extremely dry at this time of year because of mixed weather( Atlantic Canada-Fall season). I tried on the cream after a nice deep cleansing. It is hard to apply as the cream is very thick and you need a good quantity to rub all over your face. Once applied, skin feels pretty greasy. I did feel like my skin was getting hydrated and protected from the cold weather. After applying my makeup(always light for work), I could still feel my skin was a bit greasy. A few hours later, my skin did feels soft and still hydrated and yes..I could still feel it a bit greasy. So, my opinion about this product is YES I love the product and would use it in cold weather/night cream but wouldn't consider using this in hot weather. I would suggest the other product that came in the package as it is lighter and non greasy. Also, is it worth the price? I don't think so. I had the same result and effect with a jar of cream from another brand that I paid 7$ at Shoppers. Again, this was a small jar so maybe the long term effects could do a bigger difference but from what I saw, I would stick with the cheaper brand of skin creams.
