Nostalgia! Whenever I used to be sick, my mom would make me this soup. It's so simply and easy. Minus the sodium, I enjoy it very much. Now that I am in college, I make this soup on lazy days.
I really love Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup. This is the best tasting flavour I have ever tried. The only downside is the price has gotten a bit too steep to keep this as a main staple nowadays. But, it is the first thing I buy to have on hand when I feel a cold coming on. I like to break up a few pieces of spaghetti to make it even thicker with noodles. I totally recommend it to everyone craving soup.
I discovered chicken noodle soup when I moved out on my own 30 years ago. Great tasting and low in sodium. This soup is quick and easy as all the work in making the soup has already been done. I like to add chunks of chicken and vegetables to make it more hardy.
Cant live without it. When someone is sick this is my go to. Also, it is my confort food for the bad days. We always have some in the pantry just in case of.
Literally something I have been eating most of my life...when I was in Elementary school, they served this every day. While my mother never bought it, I discovered it once I moved out. I like to add things to it, chicken, cooked vegetables, etc..as I got older and had kids of my own, I used it as a lunch base, and they are now carrying on the tradition.
For as long as I can remember there has been Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup in my cupboard! When I was a child my Mom had it in her cupboard, it was always my favorite. Some may say there's nothing better with a grilled cheese sandwich with Tomato soup, but not me, i hated tomatoes as a kid and so I always had Lipton Chicken Noodle with my sandwich. I love those little noodles!
Who doesn't like a big bowl of chicken noodle soup when you have a stuffed up nose and feeling sick. I've been eating this soup since I was a little girl. Now I feed it to my children. Best soup from generation to generation.
I wouldn't eat this regularly, but it's great on a rainy day or when I'm sick. The Chicken Noodle Soup Mix is easy to prepare. I'd add chicken and veggies and it's pretty tasty.
I have been eating this chicken noodle soup for years! So easy to make, just pour packet into boiling water.
My mom served this to us when we were sick. She used to plop an ice cube in the middle to help it cool down and we kids just loved it. The broth is bright yellow, and delicious. The noodles are very thin and delicious to slurp. This stuff is very inexpensive, but a great lunch for when you're under the weather. Also tastes delicious with some veggies thrown in, or even just some crumbled crackers! I always have a box on hand.
What can you say about this classic kitchen staple that most of us have been eating since we were children? Great to have around if you have a cold, or if you don't have the time or energy to cook something, you always feel satisfied because of the noodles. My only concern as I get older is the sodium content.
