I am a big fan of tea, but I find the K cups are usually way too strong for me, even when I add more water, then cream and sweetener. Unfortunately, this product is no exception. It's very strong to the point of bitter even when I use my add-ins. If you like a strong, robust tea then this might be a product for you, but I like more of a balanced, lighter tea, even in black tea.
Not a fan of black tea. Kinda tastes like dirt to me. But others would beg to differ. Smell and taste was a little too strong for me. So i think i will just stick to the green teas from now on.
I liked the idea of a black tea K-cup, but it was not strong enough for my taste buds.
I think black tea is better suited in a steep style.
It was easy to use, but not worth the money.
i was a little disappointed with these. I generally love Lipton brands. I found this really too strong for my taste. I am used to strong teas but didnt like this much. the cost was conparable to all the rest but left a funny taste in my mouth.
I find that this does not give a rich enough tea flavour. I like my black tea stronger. Just not for me. I have found few K-cups produce rich enough tea.
While I love the convenience of being able to have my tea brewing while I do other things, the amount of k-cups I get vs teabags for the same price doesn't quite equal out in terms of price and convenience.
The taste itself is delicious and relaxing, and also works well as an iced beverage.
I like keeping a box of these in my cupboard for the times that I just don't feel like waiting for the kettle to boil and the tea to steep.
I am a tea granny but I honestly wasn't crazy for this one. I found it to have a very strong maybe even bitter taste to it. I tried all 3 cup sizes on my Kuerig the small, med and large size to see if it made a difference and it didn't really for me. It also had a funny smell to it, it just didn't appeal to me at all.
I usually don't drink black tea, but I do like some of the Lipton tea collection. Anyways, I decided to buy and try some as it was on sale. I would bring these to work to drink during my break time. So after brewing it, the smell was nice and the tea colour was pretty dark. I had a sip and felt it was too strong and concentrated. I usually can take bitter and strong tea but for some reason I could not finish this one. Maybe next time I will add honey to it or change to water cup setting to large instead of medium to dilute the concentration. However, I probably will stick to my usual tea. I did leave some for my coworkers and they seemed to like it.
It was an average tasting black tea that was easy and quick to make from the machine.
Honestly, there was nothing bad or OUTSTANDING good from this lipton tea flavour. It was just average rating for me. I did drink but had to add some flavour (piece of lemon, honey, sometimes brown cube sugar) in order to accentuate some sort of flavour. It wasn't bad though. Just a standard tea, but I'd prefer the lipton orange to lipton black tea if you want to have a one average type of tea in the office for example.
It's not bad but with so many k-cup flavours on the market I have become picky with my teas.
A stronger black tea for the keurig. I like it with extra sweetener (usually stevia or agave nectar), to tone down the intensity of the black tea..but it's always stocked at work.
