Hydrating and milky

This was my first time trying a L’Occitane product, and I got to try the Almond Shower Oil. I had heard amazing things about this brand and their almond range of products. I was intrigued by a body cleanser that turned from oil to a milky lather, as I’ve never tried anything like that before. It was easy to use and truly did turn into a lather, it felt really nice on my skin both when I first used it and afterwards. It left my skin feeling quite soft once out of the shower, and it felt hydrated. I didn’t love the scent, I was expecting something different scent wise, so I’m not sure I’d continue to buy it based on that. However, I think the hydration benefits outweigh that for someone with dryer skin.

Indulgent

I've never tried a shower oil before so I was curious to try this product. I honestly had to look up how to use shower oils because the product listing was vague on the application/use for a first timer like me who was completely clueless. You can apply it instead of body wash or as a finishing step in your shower before drying off to lock in moisture. The L'Occitane shower oil smells lovely and like sweet almonds, and it applies softly to the skin. After my shower, I was left feeling soft and nourished!

My only dislikes were the lack of direction in application, and I'm not sure if this is something I would regularly incorporate into my shower routine. It's definitely more of an indulgence but would also make a lovely gift for someone.

Very nice cleansing oil, keeping my skin soft and hydrated. Love the scent too. a bit on the pricey end though
