Bleached hair?

I was really looking forward to using this product, unfortunately it only bleached my roots and a patch of my hair. It took most of the black off though. I’m thinking maybe it didn’t bleach my hair because I had my hair professionally dyed previously. Surprisingly it didn’t do any damage to my hair! Imma hair actually felt lighter and softer after bleaching it.!
