An important book for any family.

As a child this was one of my favourite books to be read at bedtime and my mom would always tear up when reading it to me. I definitely understand why now. I recently purchased this book again as a baby shower gift for a close friend and I flipped through it quickly in the store. It's such a simple yet moving story. Every parent should own this book.

Great baby shower gift

Such a heartwarming book. I remember this book being read to me and I look forward to reading it many times to come. True unconditional love. I'm sure I will continue to give it at many baby showers to come

Beautifully written book

This book has easily become a favourite in our house. The story easily makes me cry everytime. My son picks it out and sits waiting for my inevitable tears. The bond between parent and child is so special.

I received this book as a baby shower gift and I still treasure it. I have read it many times to both of my children. Great book by a Canadian author.

I loved this book as a kid

This book was sweet and sad. It was published when I was only 2 years old so it was common by the time I was in grade 1. Robert Munch was a huge part of my childhood. Most children I grew up with had at least one favourite Robert Munch book. This was one I really enjoyed.

Master Peice

I absolutely love this book growing up and I now have the opportunity to pass it on to my kids as well as my students. Robert Munsch is one of my favourite authors to share.

Classic

This book is such a classic. I remember my parents reading it to me as a Child and now I read it to my own kids. It’s just such a good book although I usually can’t get through it without shedding a tear or two. It’s just such a classic though and I reccomened everyone have it in their home library.

Childhood favourite!

I remember my parents reading this to me as a child!! It’s such a cute story line and Robert munsch is a great writer. Can’t wait to read this to my kids one day!

My go to book at book fairs

Loved reading this book to my children when they were small, now that they are grown and have children of their own I read it to my grand child. Always a copy of this to be found in my house.

Must have

This is a classic children's book, and It tells a beautiful story. It was the first book I bought for my daughter and she loves it. It's definitely a book worth having in your house.
