This blush is super gorgeous and looks really natural which I love! It's MAC so it could be kind of pricey depending on your budget. Cliniques Cupid is a pretty similar color although that might do juust about as much damage to your wallet

I have been lusting after this blush for a long time, and after getting it in my Christmas stocking, I have to say, I am in LOVE. “Desert Rose” as described by Mac is a matte soft reddish-burgundy. I wouldn’t say that it is quite as dark and dramatic as they make it seem, because when you apply it with a light hand it can be used on a wide variety of skin tones. I’m SUPERUBER pale and when this is applied and blended out on me it looks fantastic (which is something I rarely say). I would describe it more as a deep mauve rose, because it’s not as dark and frightening as it looks in the pan.

Because this is a matte blush, it doesn’t give off any sheen, however it is incredibly pigmented. A little bit of this goes a long way and literally requires just a DAB of your brush. This is my first mac blush, and although I’ve tried many other brands, this one has lasted the longest on my cheeks throughout the day. (Without having to look like a walking doll in the morning)

I strongly suggest that next time you’re at a mac counter, or a mac store to give this blush a try. It’s only a couple weeks into 2013 and I can already see this becoming one of my favorites of the year.

My favourite blush! I have several colours, and usually blend a few together for the best look. Goes on really nicely and compliments your skin tone. I also love the little compacts, very cute!

I'm not a fan of MAC Creme blushes at all but I do have a few favourites for the regular powder blushes. Right now my current favourite is MAC Sunbasque. I have NC35 ish skintone and MAC Sunbasque is just a gorgeous, flattering peach shade......I find that with my skintone and hair colour it's just a more flattering shade than pinks or corals in general. It's a buildable colour, which is great so I think it would suit many different shades of skin.

MAC Blush is my favorite. Right now I'm loving "Melba". I always have trouble picking what shades are good and even have trouble knowing exactly how to apply my blush. However, I really love that when I go to MAC the girls take the time to help me pick out what colors look good and the proper way to apply it. MAC blushes may cost a little more than the typical drug store brands but it seems to stay on the whole day whereas other brands seem to be gone by the middle of the afternoon. MAC blush is my go to blush for sure!

MAC probably makes some of my favorite blushes. Dolly mix, Melba, and the Ripe Peach Blush Ombre are some of my favorites. The pigment pay off is excellent for the price. I have yet to actually hit pan on any of my blushes yet though. You do get a good amount for the price you pay. I think the variety of blush colors is probably one of the best things about MAC blushes as there are multiple colors to suite every skin tone.

    WORTH THE PRICEYNESS!
I cannot begin to tell you the quality of these blushes!
For starters, they are super refined. They blend very easily and last all day. They never change their color or slip off halfway during the day. From when you apply it right when you go to take it off at night it's there! Making you glow effortlessly.

I own more than 5 of these blushes and they last super long as well!

    Worth the investment!

I LOVEE my blush. I have an olive skin complexion; I use the SUNBASQUE colour, and it's amazingg. It's a tint of brown mixed with raspberry. I always look glowing when I wear it. I've had mine for a year and there's still some left. Its worth the price because it's so long lasting!!
