Ok function, good accessories

I received a Mastercraft 40W Dual Temperature Glue Gun Set, 6-pc to test by Canadian Tire and Butterly.
Overall this is a product that works as a glue gun but the dual heat isn't a real selling point for me as it didn't work that much better than the low heat. If the glue stayed hot longer with the extra heat I would be happier with the product. The accessories are what is great about this product - the silicon mat works beautifully, and the silicon finger protection is also nice. I used the three together as I have small hands and they fit on my thumb, forefinger and middle, but if you had wider fingers these would not fit.
The built in stand is a nice addition, and the trigger compresses pretty easily. It takes about 10 minutes to really heat up but once it does heat it stays heated which is nice.
The glue itself isn't amazing sadly, and I could easily peel it off from my wooden doll chair I made from sticks. The fact it's also not clear is a annoying as well (I am aware I can purchase clear). Perhaps it is the glue itself that let the product down it might be worth me trying a different kind?
Overall the accessories are what makes this kit and unfortunately not the function of the glue and glue gun itself.

The glue gun itself is nothing special compared to cheaper ones you can get. This glue gun does retail for about $20 and it's convenient they it comes with finger protectors as well as a silicone mat. However for the price point I'm disappointed it didn't come with glue sticks, especially since it was in the packaged photo
