I really like this eye shadow. the colour is bright and it really does last 24 hours or more, but the only problem I have with it is after a few hours of wearing it the shadow gets clumpy and chunky so it doesn't look the best but I love the colours of them

Bought the Black version. I have oily eyelids and have trouble finding an eyeliner that will stay on. This one wasn't bad. It stayed true for most of the day, but by the end it was smudgy and easily wiped off. It is super easy to use; just make sure you clean off the brush and close the pot lid tightly after each use.

The pigmentation is great but it's not quite opaque enough to be worn on it's own. Also I did experience some creasing as the day went on, so the 24hr claim may not be 100% reliable.

PROS: long lasting, great color selection

QUICK TIPS: use finger to warm product, gently glide on eye lid.

I never knew about thesein first sight. Honestly thought they would cease. But I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and silky the texture is. Seriously last all day. Perfect alone or a base.

These are great to wear as an eyeshadow base or on their own - but I do still have to wear an eye primer under them; everything creases on me.
The colours barely branded and bad to the bronze are my favourites, they go on effortlessly and even. I've tried the taupe one as well, but wasn't as impressed with it - it's a lot thicker and doesn't apply as easily or evenly. Plus the colour isn't flattering on my warm skin tone, but that's just a personal thing.

For the most part, these are great products and I'm glad the drugstore now has this type of paint pot like product !

Most of these are decent. They go on smooth and last just like any eyeshadow... I didn't find that they last longer but they didn't crease as fast as most cream eyeshadows. Painted Purple has poor colour payoff compared to the rest of the colors, but it's wearable if you use a primer or a colored base.

Normally I don't like spending more than, say, $5 for a single shade of eyeshadow. But I'd been eyeing the Color Tattoo shades from Maybelline for some time and I decided to bite and try it. Normally I'm not a fan of creme eyeshadows because I find they're messy and less vibrant than their powder counterparts, but the one I got was the lovely shade of smoky grey I had been looking for. Worth a try, right?

Honestly, for the price, I wasn't tremendously impressed. I was definitely glad to see that this stuff actually dries at some point (whereas other creme eyeshadows I've tried stayed moist and just made a mess). However, this wasn't nearly as bold as you are led to think. The small ad near the Color Tattoo vials in CVS shows a lady with gorgeous, vibrant orange eyeshadow. What I got out of mine after layering it on rather thick was a far more subtle effect.

Not sure what I expected since I've tried Maybelline eyeshadow compacts in the past and they went on pretty lightly (even the blackest of black eyeshadows). Why I felt this one would be any different is a mystery. I don't know if it genuinely lasts for 24 hours, but it does seem to last a decent amount of time without smudging or doing that thing where all the color collects in your eyelid crease and the rest of your eyelid is bare.

Overall? Not bad. I would not buy it again, personally. I would say if you're going to get it, go to CVS. These folks will allow you to return any cosmetics you're not satisfied with, so if you find that this stuff is crap, you can get your money back. By no means is this stuff the worst I've tried (that honor goes to Aziza creme eyeshadow palettes), but for how much Maybelline boasts about this stuff (24-hour wear, tinted with ink, tenacity of a tattoo with the intensity of ink, etc.), I expected something better. Or at least something a little closer to the solid colors seen in the ad.

I intend to keep my vial of Audacious Asphalt because I think it still produces a nice smoky effect.

I found out recently that if this stuff is used along with a powder eyeshadow base, the color becomes more bold/vibrant. For the grey, I recommend laying down a layer of black eyeshadow first (in my case, I used a matte L'Oreal black eyeshadow) and then blend the Color Tattoo Eyeshadow with a fingertip over it. For the other shades, do the same trick only with white eyeshadow to really make the color pop.

The result is a bolder, more solid, and longer-lasting eyeshadow. Maybe it doesn't actually last 24 hours like the container claims, but it will last a good 7-8 hours before it needs a new application.

I recently purchased this product at Walmart, for about $7.00 or so.

I was really impressed with the wide variety of colours available. Some were bold, others were more shimmery.. I loved them all. I also loved the heavy glass container the shadow comes in. Great choice!

I finally decided on "Bad To Bronze" which was gorgeous. I couldn't wait to get it home, and test it out.

I was extremely impressed at how well this product applied. It went on smooth, and covered very well. The colour was gorgeous, and had a beautiful shimmer. It looked amazing! I put it on in the late morning, and it was still looking great by the early evening. I was so happy! It's nice to finally find a long lasting cream shadow. But, I did notice that it does start to crease.. Not really impressed with that aspect of the product..

Overall, I like this product. I'd definitely purchase it again!

Ok the price was good, the quality was amazing, and it works like it says. It is really a color tattoo and DOES NOT come off for at least 24 hours, unless you use soap ( lots) and a cloth and hope you don't get soap in your eyes. I love that it didn't smudge, but when i am going out I like to come home and take off my make-up so I can wake up not looking like a raccoon. I don't feel like having to take soap and a cloth and scrub my eyeballs for minutes on end, and have my eyes look like I have been crying all night or have soap in my eyes. Don't get me wrong every woman wants eye shadow to stay right where they put it, but 24 hours is a little bit to much!

Bold Gold - The main thing I didn't like about this was the color and the sparkles in it. It does not look good on my blue eyes whatsoever. I also find that the formula (unlike bad to the bronze) is hard to spread on my eyes - it's very chunky and splotchy. I would not purchase this color again.

Bad to the Bronze - I like the colour and it blends better than the gold colour. It's not as bronzy as I would like it to be though.
