I dont like it..it smells terrible and its clumpy

Not a good smell! I don't think that this mascara lasted as long as most! It seemed to get old quick!

I just got this mascara, and I like it enough.

I received this mascara after winning Ali's Top Ten!! I am glad that I read the other reviews here, because when I smelled the mascara I thought it was me. It does have an odd smell, but it seems to go away once you put it on.

I am fairly picky when it comes to mascara since I have slightly long lashes (and no I am not complaining!) and oily skin so I find that often the mascara will rub off on my eyelid just below my eyebrow by the end of the day. This mascara didn't do that. It gave me great volume and great length. I did have to pump the wand a few times to make sure it was coated, when I first opened it.

I would say that this mascara is just as good as the ones which are twice the price and I think this will be my new favourite!

This mascara works well when compared to others in its class. Its clump free and lengthens pretty well, I guess the thickening part depends on how much lash you have to begin with. Which is pretty misleading considering the ad didn't say that (not that you can expect ads to say that!) :).

Comparing this with Rimmel, Revlon, or even the other famous Mabelline (the pink bottle green cap one) this one is by far better!!

Obviously if you compare this with a Lancome Hypnose, thats another story :)

There is a slight smell, its not yucky, just chemical-ly, and it goes away after a while.

All in all this product works well in its league.

This mascara is clump free. You can apply it as many times as you want without clumping. It also made my lashes longer but it took a couple strokes to make them look thick.

This mascara really makes your eyelashes thick and full. But for some reason it smells alittle funky... almost chemically. It works but beware of the odour.

This mascara does not live up to its name or expectations...they name the product colossal but this mascara is anything but...more like a colossal dissapointment...it does not create the lengthy look you want and you have to apply it 3 times before you feel satisfied...not to mention it gives off that old mascara smell...overall not very pleased with this product!

The first time you use a mascara you won't get the results that you would on the second try. The brush needs a few pumps (not intentional pumps though) to get the product entirely and evenly coated. So, after you use the product a few times, you'll notice that it goes on a lot more dramatically.

Keep in mind, If you don't have a lot of lashes, you won't see much of a change. You usually need a good base of plenty of lashes (not necessarily thick) to get the dramatic look - and that's something they never mention in the commercials. No matter how much you put on, if you only have a few lashes, you won't get the right results. Aim for false lashes if this is your situation. We can't expect mascara alone to work miracles ;-)

Being fully honest the bottle was what attracted me to it the most, however after watching all the commercials i was convinced that it was the new miracle to my eyelash woes....then i bought it. The first thing i noticed was the smell, it kind of smelled the way too old mascara does, gross. when i put it on excited that i might be underestimating it, i looked in the mirror to be slightly dissapointed. The mascara did not much more then my regular cheap mascara (which only costed me a dollar) did. Personally i didnt find any satisfaction in this product except the nice packaging.
