I received the blender as part of the Chick Advisor panel and was not overly excited about the product. While the blending was fine, it didn't blend as well around my nose in the crease and the blender was a bit bulky. I also had nowhere to store this product because it did not come with a cover or anything and I didn't want foundation all over my make-up drawer. I would have preferred a flat sponge.
well this came as a part of product review unfortunately it didnt do anything for me it absorbs most of the product i prefer the typical applicators that i actually hold on my hands rather than holding a protruding handle my fingers or my brush are also better options than this i think im going to give it a pass
I didn't find this to be particularly effective or necessary for the price. A little awkward to use, I ended up holding on to the sponge and not the handle because otherwise it just wobbled all over the place. I will just stick to a big bag of disposable wedges.
Insane price for essentially a make-up sponge (although reusable). I'm not sure how I feel about re-using it because I think bacteria can grow in it if it's not cleaned well.
I was lucky enough to receive the Maybelline New York Dream Blender courtesy of Chick Advisor. Now I always use a blender to apply my foundation. Unfortunately this blender was extremely awkward to use. I think it would work better if it wasn't attached to the handle thing provided and was larger in size. It does a decent job of blending out the foundation but I have other blenders that are much easier to use. I seem to like it better for blending out my concealer than for overall face use. It's handy to have but not something that I would purchase in the near future.
I reviewed the Maybelline New York Dream Blender free for Chikadvisor. I usually apply my foundation with my fingertips, so it was challenging for me to adapt to the Dream Blender and definitely took a week or so before I felt confident with easily using a tool for application. While I liked it, I do feel $7.99 is too steep for an application tool. I'm cheap, perhaps. If it was priced lower or coupled in a deal with the foundation, I would purchase it. Simply not keen on the price point.
I got this beauty blender free to try with the maybelline dream velvet foundation. It is a pretty good blender but it is attached to a handle making it hard to blend and wash. I prefer a "free style" blender.
I received this product for free in exchange of my review.
I was excited to try the blender but was very disapointed. The handle is too long so its not ergonomic, the sponge is super hard compared to the beauty blender and you cannot bounce the sponge on your skin..i will not be using it in the future
I got this to test as part of the Product Review Club.
I prefer putting my foundation on with my fingers, but was excited to try this blender out when it came with my Dream Velvet foundation to test.
I love the shape of the sponge, it makes it easy to get harder to reach places like by my nose. I also love that it has a handle. It makes it easy to maneuver. but I feel like the sponges absorbs too much foundation and then I am wasting it. It was also pretty hard to wash and I felt like I was going to rip the sponge out of the handle.
