The dream blender is a simple precise, pointed sponge with an attached handle. It is extremely versatile and can be used with most facial make-ups including foundations, BB/CC creams and the like.
The handle is slightly weighted which I really like. It feels better in your hand, and in my opinion allows for greater control during application. The sponge is quite dense which is nice as it does not soak up (aka waste) too much of your product. The denser sponge allows for an even and smooth application with a soft finish - just as advertised. It is easy to use it to build up different layers for heavier coverage if needed if needed. The short style handle fits nicely in the palm of your hand. The pointed tip of the sponge is great for contouring and getting around your eyes. I did find that the sponge felt wobbly on top of the handle and I always found myself placing a finger on the back of the sponge for more a more accurate and efficient application. It is a very reasonable price and worth a try for anyone looking to try a new make-up applicator. For me personally, I will probably stick to my old tried and true simple triangle tear apart sponges.

I was excited to try the blender but was very disapointed. The handle is too long so its not ergonomic, the sponge is super hard compared to the beauty blender and you cannot bounce the sponge on your skin..i will not be using it in the future

I wasn't sure about using the Blender, but I'm glad I gave it a try. It works very well, and was easy to use. I found it helped to blend the foundation to more match my skin tone. I would recommend trying it to everyone, my main issue is the price, because of the fact I don't think it will really last that long before needing to buy a new one.

It is easy to use and works well. A bit longer to apply the product then when you put it on with your fingers and no noticeable difference in the final look between those two application methods. Have to be careful not to put on too much product for a more natural look. After a few tries you get used to it and it works pretty well. It is washable, but they don't give a guideline as to how often it should be done.

i love the Dream Blender its soft and glides easily across my face. i put my Dream Velvet foundation on the back of my hand and just dabbed my Dream Blender into it!!! this method works really good for me as i do no t get to much on the blender this way..this blender is great for the tough areas around the nose and eyes ... its unique shape lets you blend your foundation evenly and smoothly across your face giving you soft silky even toned fresh looking skin.

At first it was hard to get the hang of using it-the sponge is pretty firm, it's not soft and squishy like a beauty blender. I use it to apply foundation in circular motions. The best way I found to use it is under the eye to apply or set concealer since the sponge is small enough to fit in the area.

I prefer putting my foundation on with my fingers, but was excited to try this blender out when it came with my Dream Velvet foundation to test.

I love the shape of the sponge, it makes it easy to get harder to reach places like by my nose. I also love that it has a handle. It makes it easy to maneuver. but I feel like the sponges absorbs too much foundation and then I am wasting it. It was also pretty hard to wash and I felt like I was going to rip the sponge out of the handle.

I'm really liking the way it blends my foundation. I wet it a little first, and it doesn't leave my makeup looking streaky like other sponges do when wet.
It really gets into my creases as well, especially around the eye area.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this product. I received it through the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. This is not a product that I would splurge on for my makeup kit. Usually I just apply foundation with my fingers but if a blender was necessary I would probably buy something cheaper. It worked really well to apply my foundation and was really effective with the sides for large areas and the tip for fine areas. I'll admit that it was a better experience than using my fingers. I probably wouldn't spend alot of money for this product but I do recommend it if you are willing to spend that much on a blender product.

I have to agree with 2 comments one the beauty blender was really firm and two it should come free with the foundation, cause I thought foundation to be a bit pricey so including it would make it worth it. The beauty blender does work best when damp. I would be concerned for bacteria more in sponges cause your not touching them with your hands. It does reach all hard to get places
