When I received the Dream Blender from Chickadvisor I was a little excited. I've never used one before and wanted to test it out right away. It makes applying foundation so much easier than a brush! It can smooth the foundation into the hard to reach areas, like around the nose and eyes. I will definitely be using it every time I apply foundation now, no more brush for me!

I got this in the mail ( chick advisor sent me) and I honestly love this better then the little sponges . It's quite soft, and made it easier to spread my foundation! I don't think I will use the little triangle sponges agsin

First, I want to thank Chickadvisor for choosing me as a product tester for the dream velvet foundation and blender! This is the first item I have received and I have been very excited to try it. I was ecstatic when I seen it in the mail today!

I do use a beauty blender to apply my foundation daily so I was I pumped to try this dream blender by Maybelline. Unfortunately, it didn't meet the expectations I had for it. It was smaller then I thought it would be. And once I used it to apply the foundation I found the handle to be a bit awkward. The blender was quite firm and dense, even when wet. I didn't enjoy it for the cheeks, forehead and chin.

I did, however, really like the precision of the blender for areas around my nose, brows and lips. I will certainly play around with this blender more to see if maybe it was my method of application that was flawed. I see myself using this blender daily for the more precise areas because of the small tip. I will continue to use my larger beauty blender for the larger surfaces areas of my face.

Dès le départ je ne suis pas une fervante des accessoires pour appliquer le fond de teint, je préfère l'effet lorsqu'il est appliqué aux doigts. Cela à donné à ma peau l'aspect d'être désséchée vu le frottement avec l'éponge. De +, il est difficile de la nettoyer entre chaque utilisation. Elle boit beaucoup trop de produit, ce qui entraîne des pertes non négligeables. Ne m'aura définitivement pas convertie!

I received the Maybelline Dream Blender together with the Velvet Foundation from Chickadvisor to try.
But I dont like applying the foundation with the blender because the sponge soaks so much product in.

I LOVE beauty blenders, like love them. I use one everyday so I was very excited to try out the New York Dream Blender. I was so disappointed. The blender is TINY, and the wand to hold it made it extremely awkward to blend out. I felt I had to use way more pressure than I should have had to. Even when wet, the blender didn't appear to absorb any water and help with the blending at all. It's incredibly hard to blend in a circle with this tiny thing. I wouldn't buy again.

Maybe I am biased when I say that I much prefer this sponge to my dollarstore one !!!! It just feels like it absobs more foundation and spreads it out evenly !!! Thank you chickadviser!!!!!

The sponge worked amazing! It was very easy to use and did a very good job of blending the foundation. I used it wet and the finish was great. I also used it to set the foundation and it did a great job. It didn't absorb all the product and the sponge was perfect to blend out my concealer as well.

I was excited to start using this as it looks like a beauty blender on a stick. The quality of the sponge is really smooth and soft. I followed the instructions and wet the blender. I did not like how it felt on my face while I was blending my foundation. It felt too stiff rather than spongey. Also it did not puff up as other sponges so it did not cover larger areas of my face for a flawless finish. I also did not like how it applied my foundation.

The concept it great. However I hope that maybelline revises the sponge and comes out with a new product.

I was Skeptical when I saw the Maybelline New York Dream Blender.
The stick threw me off and I anticipated a very awkward makeup application.

I was so wrong!

It was really easy, the application was smooth and blending was a breeze. The point is perfect for working around the eyes, nose, lips and for adding extra coverage where needed. The Dream Blender stick allowed the sponge to sort of roll and glide across the skin effortlessly.

I ended up with perfect coverage and a flawless finish, that took very little time to achieve.
The price point is spot on and I'm a fan of easy, no nonsense makeup and products, so I'm more than happy to recommend the Dream Blender to others, and will purchase it again myself.
