This mascara lengthens my lashes but doesn't provide longwear. I would notice it under my eyes half way through the day...no good.
My second favourite mascara (after Lash Blast) it gave my lashes a glamourous look, without it looking like I was actually wearing mascara. It was easy to apply (the brush was a good size), didn't clump or smear (and I have very watery eyes) I loved the colours on the packaging (irrelevant I know, but needed to be noted) and was a good price. It also lasted a long time, and I hope Maybelline continues producing this for many years.
This might officially be my favourite mascara...ever!i have thin, but long lashes so im always looking for a mascara that will plump them up and this definitaly does the trick.especially the one labelled "very black"...works like a bomb.im from South Africa and the price here when i purchased it was R120 which is reasonable.it's been on the market for a while but i never bothered trying it out...but,im glad i did!!! x x x
This mascara is "good enough". I prefer L'Oreal Voluminous usually, but Maybelline is cheap and does the job. I think the reason I don't like this product as much is the applicator, which isn't as thick as the Voluminous brand.
I wish I could rerate. I've jumped ship to CG's Lash Blast (yes, the big brush) and when I recently used this brand again, I was reminded why I switched. While the softness, non-clumping, and curl-holding power was still impressive, I had a lot of problems with the small applicator - smearing mascara all over my upper lash line despite careful attempts to avoid. Fix the applicator and I'm back on board. Until then, I'll just wait for a sale on Lash Blast!!
Meh. I was so underwhelmed by this mascara. I heard all the hype and couldn't wait to try it but then...meh. It works great on my maman as she has very sparse lashes and so it actually does the trick on her. But moi? Nope. Not at all. Maybelline has other, better mascaras like Volume Express, which I love.
ok....so, i know...maybelline mascara....what's all the excitement about....but honestly, i don't usually favour one beauty product over another, but with this one i've got to say....maybelline all the way! I've worked with many make-up artists who agree with me.....this one over the super pricy ones....so....there's my two cents!
I just (finally) purchased a tube of this mascara, and I find it to be one of the best, if not, THE best mascara I've purchased. I've tried L'Oreal, Revlon, Rimmel - you name it, I probably tried it. I like a couple of them, but I didn't want the clumping/thickening agent in my mascara any longer, I wasn't ready to shell out $20 for an expensive Diorshow or Lancome mascara, and I wanted to be able to replace it every 3 months without worrying about the price.
For $5, it's WORTH it. I could replace it monthly, and not feel bad.
The brush gets a little gunky at the tip when you first use it, but it slides on my lashes great, it doesn't make them super thick or anything like that, but that's what I want - something waterproof, light, not too clumpy or thick, and cheap.
This definitely fits the bill. I've found my favourite mascara - it doesn't even smudge or move ALL day long (I bought the waterproof one)
I'm not really sure how much this cost; I stole it from my sister because the shade (brownish black) was just too dark for her fair lashes.
And what a steal it was! This stuff lasts forever! Well... Sometimes that's not the best, since I'm rather averse to eye makeup removers, and can still feel it on my lashes a couple days later, but at least it lasts all day! It's easy to get seperated lashes or to clump them together into dramatic bunches, and it's amazingly waterproof. It also doesn't transfer during the day to anyplace else on my face. I'm always careful when applying it, because it's hard to get off my lids if I muck up and don't get it right away. Which I find, just goes to show how long-lasting it is.
I've endured some pretty rough times, including crying about 6 times in one day, and this stuff was there for me, not streaking my face; the only thing to give me away was puffy red lips (sometimes attractive!) and a lushly pink nose (not so great). Mascara lines, though? Not at all. Within 5 minutes of composing myself, I was ready to greet the world once more, only to have another disaster make me thank my lucky stars they didn't lie when they said "waterproof". I'll keep coming back to this product!
